It's a safe pick don't worry. We need help on OT since Fabini jolted for Dallas.

Huge vote of confidence in Chad Pennington. Not real sure if that's a good thing or not..

Can we try to trade up and get Leinart?

I love not taking Matt because I honestly believe he can't make the throws in the NFL. I'm dissapointed we took Brick instead of not trading down and getting Cutler or Davis but it's a long day and if they feel this guy is going to be great you can't argue with the move. We still have several picks to get a playmaker and a QB.

    Yup.......You take LInemen, after 15.

Before 15 you take impact players.

They wussed out and took the media pick.

    This was the right move:
    1) We have leverage if the Saints change their mind and decide to trade Bush.
    2) We have the Best Player Available at a position of great need.
    3) We still have a chance to pull of the Baltimore trade and grab Cutler if he's there at #13.

To say that it was a media pick when Mr. Media Matt Leinart was on the board is incorrect. Leinart was the best media pick, D'Brick or Davis would have been the best football decision.

Hawk,Cutler, and Davis would all have been better picks.

I agree. If we didn't pick D'Brick, Chad might think that he is in Hoouston instead of New York.

They are saying D'Brick could be a cornerstone of the franchise, how many LT's have ever been a cornerstone of a team?

Good job Jets, way to pass up a franchise quarterback for a tackle with wholes in his game. This sucks.
