I have been against the film from the beginning, but cool story. I don't like any Zach Snyder films. I am sure this won't be great either, but like I said, from the trailers it seems at least worth watching.

I'll tell you what, I'm just dumb enough to go see the new Star Wars in the theater, but that comes from having seen the first three in the theater.

The REAL first three, not that abomination that was the fake first three. (Although I did go see that piece of crap with baby Anakin, omfg)

I didn't see the most recent Avengers movie even though I grew up a Marvel kid, and my favorite comic was Xmen and I never saw any of that crap in the theater.

It's got to be either good or epic.

I might see Deadpool even though I hate Ryan Reynolds, just because the character is awesome.

Fuck Suicide Squad. That will probably be the best of all of them, but fuck it anyway.

Dude. Did you not just hype the fuck out of this movie?

I remember seeing Phantom Menace in the theater as a kid, I was taken there with a family friend who was a die-hard. He was clearly shook up with that trash afterwards. I think he still sees Jar Jar Binks in his sleep

I posted the latest trailer and said it looked watchable. I won't lie, I will see it in the theaters, but I have had pretty low expectations ever since Zach Snyder was attached to direct and they chose Affleck as Batman.

Lets be honest, we'd be hyping this as well before it hit the theaters haha

It is 100% though that Snyder does epic trailers and his films fall short

I was always fully in support of Batfleck. He had the look and after I saw him in The Town and Argo I was on board

My bad, TDK. You haven't hyped it up and I just went back in this thread and realized I agree with everything you said.

Apologies for the stereotype. I offer the most apologetic fist bump.

@abyzmul won't be surprised, but I liked Star Wars: Episode I when I saw it in theaters. I was bored with Episode II and I liked Episode III too. Now all 3 are unwatchable. True crap.

Haha yes, I would definitely talk about any Batman film coming out. Doesn't mean I would hype it up though.
He hasn't won me over completely yet, but it at least has looked better than I first imagined.

    No problem.

I saw that piece of shit at a drive-in in Honolulu.

I won't get into the gory details, but I had talked a nice looking Hawaiian girl into going there with me, we ended up getting nasty in the back of my truck and half the time I was wondering how bad that movie could be.

And she was hot. I will never forgive that movie for being bad enough to distract me from that sexy chick, man. How bad does a movie have to be to distract your mind from great sex? Fuck that movie.

Way too soon for Doomsday. Marvel is going to kick DC's ass next year

Ben has to be one of the worst actors, I'm going to wait till this movie is on Cinemax on demand to watch it. I agree with you, the moment they cast him as Batman I lost all interest in watching it.

Argo is a fantastic movie, and he is the worst part of it. He's a fine director but a horrible actor. It seems his fans can't generally separate the two.

    Very good director.

    Gone Baby Gone was great.

    Acting not so much.

That movie destroyed what was a great book.

I will never forgive him for that.

Unfortunately I think that goes for most movies, they can never truly capture details that move the reader to keep turning the pages.

Even though, it's a pretty good end to the movie, where they are playing Nessum Dorma as the bad guys are being held accountable, and the paperwork is being signed by the Russian and American presidents.

Best adaptations of a book to movie and vice versa:

    No Country For Old Men

    Silence of the Lambs

Jaws (if you drop out the stupid middle chapter love affair)

Pretty much every other movie pales in comparison to the book.

    Next year or every year?

I don't really have any interest in this movie but the trailer did make me interested.
