Held off on paying for Batman vs Superman in theater after the horrible reviews. Finally got a chance to see it today, it really was a mess.
It really isnt especially not the ultimate edition. Even the reviews had to change their opinions after they saw the ultimate edition. Its better than civil war. That movie was terrible. Side note, i liked x-men tho. I really wanna see the lego batman movie. That movie looks funny as shit. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
Yeah, it looks hilarious. I'll see it. As for BvS, I am happy fans like yourself can enjoy it. It was brutal for me. I may watch the Ultimate Edition one day, but not for awhile. That is how much I disliked it. Luckily, Justice League looks better so far.
Im really digging wonder woman. I wasnt sure i liked gal at first, but i do have a thing for jewish chicks. ABR always be recording. Do yourself a favor watch the ultimate edition asap. Take my word for it. You know i liked the theatrical cut, this cut is much much better. The story is much more cohesive and explains things. I wont spoil it for you but you understand the tension between the two much better and it makes apparent how much more lex is involved. WB should of just released it, but i guess they got push back from someone and made snyder shorten it. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
Flash is one of my favorite superheroes, I am trying to like Ezra Miller I really am. The visuals look AMAZING though.
Haha yeah, Wonder Woman is a bright spot in BvS and her solo movie looks good. I'll give the Ultimate Edition a chance one day soon and give you my thoughts. He seemed pretty good in that trailer. I have high hopes for him.
This is encouraging, I think he's a good actor, but I just didn't see him as Barry Allen. Affleck proved me wrong, so hopefully Miller will as well. I'm on board.
Just finished up with the Ultimate Edition, @zace. Thanks for the recommendation. Much better than the theatrical cut. I think I would give the theatrical a D- or F. This one flowed better and made Superman's story better. Still not Nolan Trilogy good, but I would move it up to a B-. I enjoyed it much more this time. Made me excited for the future of the DC universe too.
Yeah, 100% agreed. Despite being longer, I felt it flowed better too. So I am not sure audiences would have even minded the extra length.
I think back to movies like lord of the rings and such. If the movie is good, people dont mind the time. I enjoyed watching Clark Kent be a shitty reporter and getting yelled at by his boss. I love the scene when he first hears about batman from the two people in gotham. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
Most of, if not all, of the scenes added were actually important. They gave much better value to Superman and Lois. I think after seeing the theatrical, I was more comfortable with Ben Affleck as Batman too. I enjoyed the things that were not in the TDK trilogy: 1. Awesome Batcave 2. Awesome Batman fight scenes. 3. Solid detective work. There is still plenty of things not to like, but the Ultimate Edition atleast makes the Good/Bad ratio better.
Im kinda excited for the batman movie. The reason i lile Affleck is because hes a batman fan so he gets the comics. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
Not a good start for Suicide Squad. I'm not going to shit on anyone's interest in the film, but it's always looked terrible and reviews are confirming that: http://collider.com/suicide-squad-reviews/
