I'm glad people are finally coming around instead of ball washing Bowles. the guy is in way over his head. He doesnt get the team prepared, he doesnt play to his players strenghts, he doesnt manage in game situations, he doesnt scheme well and he doesnt preach ball control or make in game adjustments.

Between the game today and the game w/ KC, I'd have to agree...Bowels just doesn't know how to implement in game adjustments...completely clueless.

What adjustments did you want Bowles to make?

28 more games with this dud at the helm.

  5. He runs a clean program, he handles the media extremely well...he seems to know talent at certain positions...

The conservative game plans, lack of adjustments & the team's lack of passion might make him the worst game day coach in the NFL. Simply AWFUL

Who cares how he runs a presser? He is inept!!!

Please ...get Cowher, Dungy, Mooch, Parcells again out of retirement

    Heck Gailey came outa retirement?.

  7. I care how he handles a presser...and if you care about this team winning you should too. The parasites of the jets beat NO DOUBT can have an adverse affect on both the team & fan base. They need to be kept in check so that the team can focus in this market.

By no means does this mean we should keep the guy..bc he fucking sucks on game day...but I'll give credit where its due..and it DOES matter in this market whether you wanna admit it or not

Players win. Without a top QB every coach is average.

Bowles and Quinn have identical 11-9 records as head coaches. And Quinn inherited a franchise QB.

Difference is Quinn is head coach material, Turd Bowles is not. Also not many thought Ryan was any good before this season.

First sentence is your opinion. And the second isn't true.

For now, won't be my opinion when Quinn wins his division and Bowles wins 4-5 games.

Matt Ryan has never been in the ...franchise qb conversation before this season, look at his stats. He would have been very lucky to be mentioned in the top 10 qbs in the league prior to this season.

    peyton
    Ben
    Wilson
    Brady
    Discount double check
    Brees
    Cam
    Eli
    Luck
    Rivers
    Romo
    Palmer

Ryan has been on the outside looking in his whole career as far as a franchise qb. Top 10ish QB is still nice though. Maybe 5 or 6 guys listed are true franchise qbs.

Ryan's stats are very good, considerably better than Eli and Luck. And I'll hold you to that prediction.

bring the corners closer to the line, play more man and challenge them to play more aggressive. KISS. keep it simple stupid. At the very least it would stop the pathetic WR screens that have gashed this defense ALL FOUR GAMES. They are getting burned deep right now as is anyway so its not like this stuff is currently working. Oh- and please take David Harris out on passing downs.

also show a little more balls. You got a west coast team at home and you need some confidence bad after the previous week. Your first drive is a decent one to get you a field goal and after the defense gets a sack and a stop the offense is on the move again....

3-0 lead, 4th and 4 at the opponents 41 yard line. YOU GO FOR THAT you dickless idiot!!!!!

Instead Bowles takes all the growing confidence out of his team and punts. What did the punt get us? 30 yards of field position? Seattle got that on the first goddamn play!!! That was a real chance to show confidence in his offense after a rough outing the week before and a chance to put some additional points on the board early. he punts though... fuck me

Whilst I kinda agree, last week was worse. First drive of the game, you've an offence which got damn near 500 yards the previous week and you're sitting with a 4th & 3 on the opposition 43. We deserved to lose the game for punting in that situation.

I guess it doesn't really matter. This season smells worryingly like 2014. Whilst we look back on that year as a dumpster fire, we'd won in week 1 and were 21-3 up in Green Bay in week 2 before imploding for two months. Poor QB play with constant turnovers, a defence unable to force an incompletion let alone a turnover. A lousy schedule. Yip, it's 2014 again (which is damning considering we're supposed to have strengthened to such a degree).

This is much worse than 2014..at least in 2014 we had a half ass excuse of having 0 talent in the defensive backfield..here we have a GM that spent about 60M to improve it and it may be worse that it was then. I certainly hope heads fly now like they did two years ago over this debacle.

I can't wait for the WE SHOULDA KEPT REX nonsense to start up when the Bills go to 3-2 next week and we sink to 1-4.

In his defense that's not exactly a high percentage play and if you fail you give Seattle half a field to score against your crap secondary. It's not like he passed up a 4th and 1. 4th and 4 on the 41 is something you'd go for in Madden but not in real football.
