OK, I'll be more blunt. If someone is going to start ANOTHER thread about how bad our head coach is, they should at least not confuse his last name with a part of the human anatomy. This topic was literally shit from the outset, but feel free to continue your hard-hitting analysis on this topic.
No pressure , but the bills game is a MUST win. I think we will beat them by 10pts. If not it will be a LONNNNNGGGGG season. If Marshall does that dropsy shit again , I would bench him for Robbie Anderson.
Marshall has not been the Big Moment Guy on this team. He gets his catches, he gets his td's and his yards. When it comes down to making "the pivotal play", Marshall always comes up short. He's not the guy you want to throw to when the game is on the line. Not sure if that's a Fitz thing or a Marshall thing but neither one of them seems to be able to respond to "the moment". Unfortunately, Fitz uses Marshall as his security blanket in those situations instead of Decker soooo, you get the critical drops at the worst times. No doubt the natives are restless. This is a direct result of over-inflated expectations for 2016 based on our 2015 record. If 2015 showed us anything, it showed us that we still don't know how to win the big game or even more locally, win the "big moment". We give up 3rd and longs regularly and our vaunted D stays on the field longer than it should. We drop the critical game deciding pass regularly. Fitz makes his customary ill-timed bad throw with game on line. We don't convert 3rd downs to keep the other team off the field late and on it goes.. I would advise folks to lower their expectations for 2016. Our team is still a work in progress and our HC has been boss now for exactly one year. Our GM btw is also getting his OJT as we go too. Anything we get near 10 wins should be considered a bonus whether we make the playoffs or not.
I get that everyone is upset the Jets lost a very winnable game, but does this thread really need to exist? It doesnt seem productive and it is just going to be a spot for Jets and apparently random Bills fans to post. Its also going to take away from other discussions that could be had. Coach is always going to get crucified for a loss, every fanbase does it.
Got tired of the constant bitching by the remaining Rexaholics so I lumped the entire lot of them into this thread. Better they pollute one thread than read 4 threads bitching about the same shit over and over.
Well, that catch certainly cements his rep as clutch doesn't it.. Doesn't cancel out all the critical drops Mr. Marshall has graced us with. Maybe he holds on to one on thursday nite. (crosses fingers).
I actually agree with you but I just like responding to people with pictures as a counterpoint. @ NE, PHI, BUF stick out as games last year where he had huge drops. It sucks that one of our best players is so unreliable in big moments, those are supposed to be the times where they step up.
