when you have 7 jobs on two phases of the game, you tip your hat to that player. If you haven't noticed how important he is, you aren't paying attention.
He's an invaluable member of the offense and special teams. Without question. He's probably our most versatile player. He pretty much does everything except tackle.
I've noticed he makes key plays for us but I am more so talking about him as a WR, not as a player overall. I agree...

If I remember he used to be (maybe still is in some situations, I don't know) the gunner on punts and kick off return defenses, and often he made really solid tackles in the open field.
Cole and Coleman are pretty much locked in as gunners for every play, but Smith was the other gunner opposite Wallace Wright earlier in his career.
