The Official Are You Pro-Tebow or Anti-Tebow Poll

I think that's probably the first choice -- captured under being "pro-Tebow," as in rooting for him as a Jet, but don't think he has what it takes to be a starting QB in the NFL.

 

There needs to be the "if my team isn't going to use him except for ridiculously stupid gadget plays that often don't work he isn't worth the distraction" option.

 

You are correct in theory and based on my observations, in the beginning trolls were ignored most of the time. However, specific trolls were relentless and consistantly hijacking threads. I just got tired of it and decided I would give them better than they can give. So far it's been fun and with the help of some 'playas' here in the Timghetto, we have pwned the shit out of them.

Tebow trashers will never stop regardless of being proven wrong. I learned that from the time Tim was a freshman at UF.

 

I prefer to think of the Tebowmania forum as 'away'. I can go weeks forgetting it's here, actually, and I'll only see one or two of the regulars, basically the ones that actually care to understand the team itself and not just how the team relates to Tebow, in the Jets forum. It's kind of easy to evaluate the fanboys apart from the actual football fans that way.

I just sort of wish I could exclude the Tebowmania forum threads from that 'Last Posted' tab on Tapatalk.

 

I'm not pro-Tebow, I'm pro-Jets. I want to see him perform on the field for us. There are some thing about him I dislike but I put those aside when the team hits the field.

 

BTW, good making the poll not public. I think some message board members would harrass Jets fans that are accepting of Tim. They sure try to harrass those of us that are known Tim fans.

I stay in this forum mostly because of peeps like you that trash Tim and his fans regularly, as evidenced by your reference to us being "fanboys". Who the fuck do you think you are fooling. Yeah, but that's really not it. I don't hate him, and I think he can be useful, but a) the Jets obviously signed him to sell jerseys and not win games, and b) they obviously have very little clue how to deploy him effectively. Given what they've got invested in the starting QB, and how little likelihood there is that Tebow is the long term answer there anyway, I just don't think this experiment is worth it.

Now line that motherfucker up to run the read option on third and five and tell him he's got two cracks at the first down all game long, I'd be totally down with that. But I have a feeling Rex doesn't have the stones to do it.
