I'm with you 100%. I'd like to see what Blaylock can do. And I'd be pretty ticked is we drafted an RB in the early rounds. We need Olineman. I could see us grabbing Hawk at #4 since we have Ramsey.
It's pretty clear Atlanta isn't going to give away their #15 pick. Both the Jets and Falcons need to get creative........sweeten the pot with a very good 2007 pick. I would take a 2nd pick this year, plus a 2nd next year. Remember: Atlanta's 2nd pick and 3rd pick this year is the same in value as Seattle's 31st. I doubt Atlanta would want to part with their 3rd rd this year, since they already traded their 4th yesterday. IMO, 2 second rd picks would be a deal, since the Jets would have to wait a year to use 2007's pick, or we could use that pick for trade bait this season.
or d'brick, either would be nice...i really want ATL's first rounder but i know we wont get it...this is so depressing.
I dont want another RB here. No Thanks. I have convinced myself that Houston should be our featured back, he proved to me last season that he at least deserves a shot. Now give it to him Mangini.
No thanks. Blaylock is signed for four more years, and Houston did decent last year in his playing time. Martin isn't going anywhere, either. #15!
but we just need to get a 1st rounder out of him, this is insane, if the jets FO fucks this up, i am going to be sooooooo pissed off. john abraham is first round pick material. if we get anything less for him, then the other team played us.
I agree and have been saying it all year long. It bothers me that we are going to let Ab go, and if we are not going to get a high first round pick for him its going to bother me even more. The Seahawks first round pick is a joke, the 31st pick in the draft for a proven pro bowl DE. Are you kidding me?
Wow, hats off guys. I don't impress easily, and here I am sitting here impressed. After all this time, there's light at the end of the tunnel -and it isn't a locomotive. Fancy that. Now I have to go buy you all a round of something or other. Hold on... There ya go. Here's to something refreshing.
That's where I stand as well, unless one of the top RBs slips to us unexpectedly. I'd be more upset if we drafted a QB in the 1st or 2nd.
We do not need to trade Abraham. Suiters need to know that. We'll trade him when the deal suits us. It's too bad if Abraham is not happy. If he sits out the entire franchise year, so be it. If he does that, he doesn't get a better deal the following year.
You aren't going to get a 1st rd pick, if Atlanta wouldn't give it up.....they made it very clear...No Schaub and no first rd pick. I'd settle for a 2 this year and a 2 next year, I wan't that piece of $h@@ out of here. IMO, they are now in talks for more compensation than this year's 2nd rd.
