I don't really care about his measurables if he absolutely sucks in College. I think you or it may have been someone else who said this about Jalen Milroe. At the very least the guy needs to play well in College, which correct me if I am wrong, but Sellers is not doing.
Yes for sure. When other teams do it is it luck? No. Let’s not be ridiculous. we played a terrible football team. When two terrible football teams play someone has to win. We played better today. Don’t worry you will have plenty of losses to celebrate the rest of this season I’m sure.
We had 6 sacks and after trading our two best defenders we gave up 20 points… 3 on a last second FG at the half and 7 after the worst QB in the NFL threw and awful pick on our own 20. offense will be a trainwreck for as long as Fields is behind center. But even then… the young tackles held their own against a very good DL and arguably the best pass rusher of the last half a decade. What exactly did you want to see from the coach that you didn’t see? Yea the Browns suck and yea we weren’t flawless but I think a little perspective would help.
It's hard to excuse the offense because the Browns have the best pass rusher in the league and a top defense while praising the defense without mentioning Dillon Gabriel.
Agreed on defense - that was positive and I was happy to see it, though AZ getting concussed was upsetting. But offense was brutal, I wanted to see development of Taylor, Smith, see what Metchie can do. Some passing game. Good pass pro. Instead none of that happened and we win a meaningless game to hurt our draft position because of not one but two lucky ST touchdowns.
Haha, wow I botched that one. I misread the praise for the young tackles as the offense, apologies. I do like our tackles, mostly because I am so sick of drafting OL.

Taylor and Smith aren’t going to develop for as long as Fields is playing for us. That’s just reality. And Metchie barely played. He played what 3 snaps before Garrett went down? I also thought the pass pro was fine. Fields yet again caused at least two sacks because he can’t get rid of it. Membou and Olu holding Garrett to 0 sacks can’t be ignored.
We threw 11 times and won the game. They aren’t going to bench the QB whole tied or with a lead because the internet wants them to. You don’t think I want Fields benched ASAP? Of course I do. But I’m not gonna be unrealistic about it.
Do we really need the #1 overall pick? Not really as we have 18 picks over the next two years. Perhaps our QBoTF isn't available in '26. I've heard from just about every source that '27 is the class you want to be looking at. If we're not married to a QB pick this year, why not solidify the foundation this year with blue chip offense and defense talent with our abundance of picks.
