Again, why would anyone think Fournette is a good fit here? The coach loves going with RBBC and we already have one great RB that wants to be the guy.

Fornette is a clown. Real cancer to the locker room..also, what's he going to give us that Leveon Bell won't? We need trench help, WR, and overall talent. A RB won't make a difference.

Its a good fit for this offense. Fournette is a north-south runner, and system is designed for that. That's why Bell, who is not that style of runner has been a bad fit

Fournette is a fit in the offense no doubt, he’s not a fit with Adam Gase who buried Drake and Damien Williams in his shitty committee. And if you can’t adjust your offense to maximize the ability of Leveon Bell then you probably need to take a step back and look in the mirror.

    :D

Fournette is a fit "no doubt." but he's also not a fit. Sprinkle in some Adam Gase hate and its a solid post

I mean you act like it's not legitimate. He's a fit in the type of offense Adam Gase runs, he's not a fit with the RBBC approach Adam Gase has taken his whole career. Fournette wants to be the guy, Bell wants to be the guy, Adam Gase wants no guy. How in the world could anyone think that's a good fit?

It's not doom and gloom, it just is what it is. No sense in pretending otherwise. We got lots of work to do and I mean, I THINK we have the right guy leading the charge but we also went from having one of the worst WR rooms in the league to having.... one of the worst WR rooms in the league. All while trying to develop a 23 year old QB that needs developing.

The older I get the more appreciative I am of Belichick's legacy. 5 years ago I would never accept Stone Cold's music in conjunction with Belichick.

I'll just copy and paste my last post since the answer was in there:

He's a fit in the type of offense Adam Gase runs, he's not a fit with the RBBC approach Adam Gase has taken his whole career. Fournette wants to be the guy, Bell wants to be the guy, Adam Gase wants no guy.

Interesting. We were linked to him in free agency and he took a while to sign... now he's released. I'd imagine either he's back to looking as terrible as he was with the Giants or he's not healthy.

The Jets should claim Fournette. Then Gase can have Bell and Fournette, yet pound the rock with Gore 30 times a game. Just to ;) at the haters.

I mean, what the division rivals do is definitely relevant. Hence why the discussion came up.

I'm sure Belichick is going to do his due diligence on Fournette. Him and Cam in the New England winter's would crush it as @BrowningNagle said. A lot of 40+ rushing attempt games beating defenses to shit.

My point is I don’t care what Cam and Fournette would do it New England. We aren’t going to competing for a division title. We aren’t gonna potentially see them in January. Let them continue to dominate while we are trying to figure our shit out. I’d much rather it be the way than the other way around.

Yea shit those two meetings determine whether we got 6-10 or 4-12. I just can’t care what other teams do when we have so many issues of our own to fix.

Ironically, the only time Gase finally accepted that you can have a workhorse back, he completely misused him. And Gase said this himself, this isn't just me accusing. That's why he brought in Frank Gore and the Jets drafted Perine. He flat out said he wants to preserve Bell which means heavy RBBC. And to bring it all back full circle... there's no way in hell you can have Fournette and Bell in a committee without it turning into a complete catastrophe.
