Shattenkirk is worth more than Eberle! Very odd trades. Montreal wanted to get rid of Subban, but surely they could've done better than Weber. Bad contract and will be 31 this summer. Hall and Subban are two top commodities, I don't get how they get dealt for Weber and Larsson. America fleecing Canada!
Supposedly the Blues are asking for the world for Shattenkirk. Him for Hall would've made much more sense from an Oilers standpoint. And then they could've offered Eberle or Nugent Hopkins to the Devils for Larsson (even though Shero seemed to take Chiarelli to the cleaners in his stance on Hall) It was either him or McDavid in any trade involving Larsson. There was also some speculation that the Devils were gonna trade Hall to Montreal for Subban. That is something I would've hated.
The Blues have a surplus of D and Shattenkirk is entering his last year, they don't exactly have much leverage. I heard they were interested in Eberle or Hopkins but who knows its all rumours right now. Tomorrow is gonna be fuckin fun.

Demers and James Reimer to Florida. They have a good looking team. Pretty gross contract for Lucic but I'm happy with the acquisition, exactly what we need. Years 5,6 and 7 will look bad.
