yeah it's insane nothing like hockey. I usually don't watch but I saw some of the first period yesterday. 2009: 22 goals (and then a shootout "goal") 2011: 21 goals 2012: 21 goals 2015: 27 goals no game in 2010, 2013, and 2014
I tried watching yesterday, but it was brutal. Then I saw Ovechkin make a pass and I was like I KNOW THIS ISN'T REAL HOCKEY NOW!
^^^^ yeah 29, whoops hahahaha yeah I saw a goal he set up in the first the announcers were like, the goalie was caught totally off guard because Ovechkin shoots that every time he was so flabbergasted that he passed, he was out of position also there was this: http://ftw.usatoday.com/2015/01/alex-ovechkin-fake-fight-nhl-all-star-game
Caps knock off the Penguins 3-1 in Pittsburgh tonight. Ovechkin added to his goal total but also committed a violent slash on Letang that caused some chaos. Great old time game.
devils had a 2 on 0 against Buffalo last night and didn't score (or even get a shot off) Jagr and Gomez. They should retire.
And here come the Kings. They won't win it this year but you can guarantee that neither Nashville or Anaheim want to play them in the first round.
Dubi gets under Cindy's skin again, too bad Dubi doesn't know how to fight. Cindy fights like a girl...geez
Buffalo dumped everyone again. Traded every player they could get anything for. They were already a minor league affiliate, now they're another level down
They were almost at the level where they had nothing of value left to trade and secured the no.1 pick. But then their goalie starting playing better. So they traded him haha
nope, they're worse than Edmonton their goal differential is by far the worst in the NHL Neuvirth is the reason they haven't sewn up the #1 pick. They got annoyed so they dumped him, among others. Stewart and Mitchell, both forwards, who they found takers for. They also traded several players for Kane, who they wanted because he's injured and won't play this season (similar to the 76ers getting Noel and then sitting him the entire year even though he was ready to return). http://sabres.buffalonews.com/2015/03/02/sabres-add-future-assets-four-trades-deadline-day/
look at the rest of the team keep in mind that they basically tried to deal everyone so Flynn and Mitchell having played on the top line makes sense when you consider that virtually all the rest of their forwards (I assume they wanted to keep Ennis, so maybe not him) NO ONE WANTED. Not even for a 7th round pick. Buffalo's top line would be 4th liners on other teams. The rest of their lines should not even be in the NHL.
The Playoffs are near! Getting very exciting in the East. The Caps are in an interesting playoff battle. They are trying to fight off the Bruins and Senators for that #7 seed but at the same time only a point away from jumping ahead of the Penguins or Isles for the #2 or #3 seed. Rangers, Habs and Lightning look the strongest at the moment. The West is strong with the Ducks and Preds. Interesting to see if the Jets will hold off the world champ Kings for a playoff spot or if the Kings will sneak in and make some noise. Should be a fun couple of months now!
