Matty R, the Oilers have #16 in the first round I think if they were to get a guy via trade that is the pick that we would dangle.

Fucking pissed the Flames just landed Doug Hamilton. FUCK

I'm not really sold on Talbot though and would rather try and get Brent Seabrook or Lucic with #16 included in the package.

Doesn't matter if the Oil had Pat Roy back there with that D it'd be the same results.

Loving the Flames now...they have a great defense brewing and the acquisition of Hamilton might be telling in regards to Giordano's future with the team. Big rumors Lucic to the Kings? If so Kings are well positioned to make a cup run and the Bruins are rebuilding.

Bruins trade Lucic to the Kings for pick #15, Martin Jones, and Colin Miller. Boston now picks #13 #14 #15 #37 #45 and #52 talk about a rebuild

The Canes just bought out Alexander Semin's contract. I said I wouldn't mind him back on the Caps and pretty much their whole fanbase called me crazy. Haha.

If he works out for you guys, Jake, which I think he will, he was relatively cheap...one thing you will love about him is his calmness, never gets upset, never let's a bad goal against snow ball on him

I just feel Russians are odd like that. The Canes sucked, he lacked motivation, and that played a part. Being back with Ovechkin, maybe put him on a line with Kuznetsov, all of a sudden he produces again. Not saying he is a great addition to the team, but he could play on the 3rd or 4th line and be cheap. Not saying to put him on the Top line with Ovechkin and Backstrom like the good ole days.

PS: Mike Green is ranked as the #1 Free Agent available in many reports I have read. Yikes. Bad Free Agent Class.

Green reminds me of Dan Boyle, which is not a good thing...Semin's best landing spot is the Caps I agree with you TDK

Boston brass has lost their fucking minds. Say no to Dougie Hamilton but hello to Zac Rinaldo? Rinaldo is a fuckin embarrassment and shouldn't even be in the league. Boston is so stupid. That's okay though - fuck them

Thing is he's going from playing behind the best D core in the show to EASILY the worst.

Look at how Dubnyk turned out when he got a decent team in front of him.

It is absolutely imperative that the Oilers get two solid D men in FA. Really need to make a run at Seabrook.

Boston trades Martin Jones to San Jose for a first rounder next year. Somewhat makes up for the ridiculous moves Sweeney has been making...except it doesn't.

Chicago trades Brandon Saad to Columbus for a bunch of young guys. I figured Sharp was the guy to go not the 22 year old clutch player on the up. But maybe Saad wants out of Toews n Kane's shadows and will carve out a niche in the East for himself. Columbus should make the postseason next year.

    Boston not so much.

Well if the NY Times is accurate looks like I might have to start following hockey pretty closely again as apparently the Coyotes are going to be sold to Bill Foley who plans to move the team to Las Vegas. I'm doubting the accuracy of this story but this rumor has been in the mill for a few days since it was announced Glendale would terminate the lease with the Coyotes. Honestly as a former Phoenix resident the team never should have moved out of downtown but poor vision set the franchise back many years. That may all be about to change as they could play their home games just seconds from Las Vegas Blvd behind the New York New York.

Mike Green still gets $6 million a year. WOW!!!!!!!! Signs 3 year deal with the Red Wings.

Caps have done nothing so far. Pens have made some moves, including trading for Kessel.

Caps signed Justin Williams. I assume that means Joel Ward will walk. If so, good replacement. Williams is a year younger and a 3 time cup champ.
