Blackhawks definitely a salary cap era dynasty. 3 in 6 years, with another western conf finals hair loss. that'll do it. could also make a case for the Red Wings 97-08. was it 5 stanley cup appearances in a 10 year span, with 4 wins? impressive. could even make a separate case for the 24 yr consecutive playoff appearances streak... even more impressive.
from what i saw in the Caps at the end of season and postseason, i doubt they step back. team is playing their best hockey. got the right coach, good goaltending, and imo the best player in hockey with Ovechkin.
Yeah, they look like they are headed in the right direction, but as a Caps fan (Just like a Jets fan) , you have to prepare for the worst.
Congrats to Carey Price on winning the Hart Trophy. I would have given Ovechkin his 4th, but a goalie winning is cool, since it is rare.
I hope so. I like the Sabres. Talbot's good right? You guys can have our second 1st round pick, #21, I don't care
He's pretty good, better than what you guys have, the 3 knocks on him are inexperience in playoffs, 1 year left on contract and he's 27...which is not that old
Well the inexperience in the playoffs isn't that big of a problem in Buffalo. He'd fit in nicely with that group haha the 1 year left is a concern. Would hate to trade a 1st to see him walk in FA
Defenseman Mike Green and center Eric Fehr will not be returning to the Capitals next season and will test the unrestricted free agent market on July 1, the agent for both players told CSNwashington.com on Thursday.
Oilers are in on the Talbot discussions. McJesus arrives tomorrow. I hope Chiarelli brings over a couple Bruins too like that goon Lucic he's just what the Oil need.
Stone is 5 years older than Ekblad. Ekblad performed the way guys who are 25 play. And he's only going to get better.
so much for that plan MR.... Sabres trade the #21 to Ottawa for Goalie Robin Lehner and Ancient Forward David Legwand. http://www.tsn.ca/sens-trade-lehner-legwand-to-sabres-for-first-rounder-1.318559
