This is very true, I just don't want it to kill a drive, Smith under threw both his long passes and he obviously practices these plays, so it just worries me. So...How great was Sanchez today? Pretty great.
Makes sense. Even if the pass is an incompletion it'll help keep the defense more honest when running the ball out of that formation. The pass plays would have to be safe & Smith would need the discipline to throw it away & not try to force passes in like he's a starting NFL qb.
