Not sure what round this lad goes but he sounded interesting to me, he is best in a zone-blocking system that opens up channels for him to exploit, which sounds like what we are about to use. https://thedraftnetwork.com/player/kylin-hill/XqJLcqIQLH round 3/4 prediction Chuba Hubbard 2019 amazing but a bit of a down year 2020 could be picked up for a 4th?
If he lasts to the third round, I think he might be going in the latter parts of round 2, he looks a good player.
So tricky but no honestly I think first pick third round could be used for IOL in this case. I guess you could flip flop the two (rb and ol) but I would take Etienne or Williams in a heartbeat at #34 and never look back.
You're right. What I was referring to is the success teams have had in the past decade with second round rbs
I fully believe we will have at least one more second round pick this year to use. Either because of a Sam trade, or if we keep Sam, we will trade down a few spots and capture a couple of more picks.
Douglas seems to have forced himself to go corner and guard with the next 2 picks after going QB at the moment. He can take a chance and grab one later but the lack of talent at guard and especially cornerback is scary bad right now.
Picking James Morgan over Gabe Davis was a terrible decision. Not that he was linked to picking Davis but I was yelling at the TV when they took Morgan over him.
If we want a #1 CB it's going to have to be the later 1st round pick used to grab one. I would bet we end up with an additional second round pick as well. The drafts strength is O Line. There are quite a few IOL who grade out in the late second through 4th round so the additional second could be used or the third round pick can be used this year for a guard if there is someone Douglas feels is more valuable, a RT , WR . The drop off in talent has to be factored in when deciding where to draft a position of need and value of that position.
He can grab a guard with the 34 pick. 2019 draft there was a big run on offensive linemen in the beginning of the second round. Just because this is a deep draft for offensive linemen, I would not wait till 3rd or 4th round, all the good ones will be gone in the second round. 3rd I would grab Chubba Hubbard and 4th round start with development players.
