How old are you? 12 right? You are making the Jets fanbase look bad with threads like this.

I know that's the case for "official stats". What I'm talking about is looking at the rest of his overall performance. Not ignoring the interception at all. Will stipulate up front that it was a very bad throw (ironically enough, it looked like a nice spiral, just way off target :) ).

Anyways, if you look at the rest of his passes, he would have been 4-7, but one of those was a drop by Hill. That would have made it 5-7, or 4-6, depending on how you want to count it.

Again, not trying to minimize/excuse anything. Just saying if you take that one play away, the rest of his passing wasn't that bad statistically. Still needs to improve, but he seemed to be throwing better than he did last year.

Well, in two quarters he had 4 completes. In one quarter each, both Sanchez and McElroy had 4 completes each. Small sample size yes. But part of the Tebow problem is not being able to get passes out of his hands. He was holding the ball too low adding time to his already long wind up. If he is going to get better, he has to keep the ball up by his chin.

I don't disagree at all. Just stating that I think he's shown improvement over last year, that horrible INT notwithstanding. :) He still has a ways to go.

If you can't execute a good vanilla you probably can't execute a good cookie dough.

I liked some things that I saw such as Coples in on everything even if its 2nd string. What people dont realize is Coples will go against 2nd and 3rd string players in games during the season due to injuries. So he can beat pretty much everyone as of now. Also liked DeMario Davis making special teams solo special teams tackles. McKinght looked real good as well as Hill.

The OLine looked lost but lets give them time to Gel with a whole new offense. Id like to see Wayne Hunter next week and how he performs and also see Kerley on Offense and returning punts. I almost forgot when Kenrick Ellis was in the game the middle was clogged up. So we have things to work on but we had positives as well

Last note was Scott and Pace looked slower... Did Bryan Thomas Play?

I've been wondering about Bryan Thomas too. They didn't mention him on the field so maybe not.

Damn, we could have won this game if we still had Clowney and Ratliff!

These preseason games do not faze me. But I will say that I don't like seeing our offense overwhelmed by a full blitz. That was common last year and it was there again last night. All out blitz and not only does our QB go down, he's down fast and hard.

It's the way OUR defense is suppose to overwhelm other offenses, and of all teams you'd think we'd be practicing against that all week so we'd be able to function better under an all-out attack. Last season was the first during the Rex years where we were overwhelmed by blitzes far more often than the other way around. That's the trend I hope to see reversed in 2012, and it definitely wasn't the case last night.

    Just sayin'

I actually thought Pace looked faster than he did last year, but not as fast as the year prior. And I was amazed that Scott actually ran somebody down, even if he was too slow to cover him in the first place.

I hate the UD as much as I hate the METS that dsyfunctional organization shouldnt even be in MLB. Im a lifelong YANKEES fan.

As far as the game goes maybe I over reacted but I didnt like what I saw against the BENGALS a team far worse than the NYJETS.

Mask it hide it defend it.....in the end its all about wins and losses.

This team has alot of work to do.

Maybe you should go look at some historical pre-season wins/losses records and get a better understanding of how important wins and losses are in the preseason.

Is this your first offseason? Step off the ledge.

Like I said maybe I over reacted. I really didnt see any positives on the offense. The NYJETS couldnt run the ball, the offensive line didnt give the QB enough time to throw the ball and the WRs couldnt get seperation. This is a repeat of last season and Tanne and Rex failed to fix whats wrong.

Did you and I watch the same game? 1st quarter all starters and the same as last year where we left off.

Cant explain it any differently without lieing and masking the truth.

At least Tebow moved the ball and is probably going to be the starting QB sooner than later.
