Sure, the game probably wouldn't have gotten out of hand at the end. But I still think that the Colts probably win the game.

I don't really think that's the debate, the Colts were better but the Strickland injury hurts. We were having success until he went down. I still think Manning makes the adjustments to beat us but when Greene went down our ability to move the ball (as we had all day up to that point) prevented us from staying in the game.

As for the Scott 12th man on the field call. I thought the Colts were not set and then on the radio feed Randy Cross mentioned that too. His reasoning was that the refs are too busy counting everybody on the field they really don't bother to look and see if the offense is set. You would think the league would have figured this out by now but who knows. We did give up points on that drive too so it sucks.

Couldn't agree more. Dallas beat eagles, zona beat packers, NO beat zona, Vikes beat Dallas, NO beat Vikes, Colts beat Balt, Colts beat Jets. All playing at home in a Dome!!!!

Jets and Baltimore only team winning away againts team not playing in Domes!!!!

This is a disgrace to the Game we all love!!

How to beat a Dome team? Home field advantage helps a lot...

The Jets formula is fine, we just ran into a really good team yesterday and had too many injures to hold up. Peyton Manning is a robot.

We need to improve our passing attack, and by all indicators, Sanchez is progressing quite well. I think as soon as next year he's going to be fantastic for us.

Bring back big Kris Jenkins, Leon, add another solid corner and some youth on the d-line and I think we're a much more dangerous team next season.

we won the 1st half and may have found a QB. There are still some weak spots on the defense. IMO we need help at CB and DL speed rushers. One thing that bothers me on offense is our WR. They need better hands and more speed. Where is our Garcon? Another RB would be nice also.

Everyone who thinks that losing Shonn Greene had nothing to do with the offense sputtering and stopping, or that the running game wouldn't have limited manning's TOP in the second half anyway, or that losing Strickland and using #3, #4, and #5 depth players at RCB had nothing to do with Manning hitting those receivers for 23 of 26 his completions, raise your hand.........

Mike Fatcesca just raised his hands, both of them.

Each had a 6" Subway hero in them.

If the colts were not the better team that day then how did they win. I'm just gonna call it how I saw it. The Jet's played a great first half (except last 2 minutes in 2nd quarter), the defense got to manning, the O line didn't pick up the blitz that well at the start, the offense was very diverse and had some big plays and scored points. The colts made adjustments, they figured out the jets D, they switched to 3 receiver and picked off the jets D, the colts D improved second half and did a good job at stopping the jets running game and played 60 minutes. The NFL changed when the west coast offense was established by the 49ers, not this year, not this decade, but when Bill Walsh made it famous with the 49ers. The better team won. You guys have nothing to be ashamed off, instead you should be proud cause your team proved the critics wrong and made it farther than anyone thought you get. Everyone kept saying the jets were let in the playoffs and that they didn't earn their spot, but when they got in they made the most of it. The jets future is very bright. The colts were the better team that day and there is no denying it. It's not like the vikings saints game where the vikings were the better team and still lost (because of turnovers). Don't blame it on the injuries, because you can only use the excuse for so long. Did it play a factor? Yes, but Shonn Greene doesn't play D and he couldn't have fixed the Jets D in the second half. You might keep Peyton manning puzzled for a little bit, but because of how high his football IQ is he is just able to find a weakness sooner or later, exploit it and you saw what happened because of it. The Jets did a damn good job and you guys should be proud of how far they made it. That game is a sign of how bright the jets future is and this decade should be a good one for the jets.

Gay aspects of the Indianapolis colts.....Peyton manning, dome, turf, reggie wayne, and their fans.

    Super rant day for me

I didn't read all that mush the first sentence was enough.

The Colts beat us, anyone on here that says otherwise is on crack or you are misreading.

Granted we didn't play our best and had dumb mistakes which cost us, penalties, FG's, stuff like that. Pretty much what San Diego did against us, which I argued that the Jets likely caused the mental errors so I can't change now.

The injuries piled up quick that is the only difference but still no excuse, Congrats and good luck in the SB.

I wonder if you would've comeback if you had lost? I guess we'll have to wait until next year.

dude, colts have one of the greatest QBs of all time standing back there in that shotgun. Brady and Manning could do it. You need a good QB to run that type of offense the way that they do.

The Colts were the better team this Sunday, a Sunday which included our middle linebacker being hurt, as well as parts of the secondary.

Strickland getting hurt changed the game, Rex said it in his press conference and you could see it on the field. Manning went 3 wide and picked on our CB's not named Revis. That's football.

The term "better" is a bit tricky of course, we were a better team than the patriots the first time we played, then they killed us the second time. Then we made it further in the playoffs than they did.

The NFL is very much a week to week league.

Yeah. I love Brad Smith in the wildcat, he's ok on special teams too, but the dude isn't that great at WR. Clowney isn't that great either, and neither was Stuckey. We really lack at the WR spot after our 1 and 1a.

On a higher note, we do have one thing the other three championship weekend teams have, and that is a good pass catching TE. All of those teams that like to open things up have TE's who can play like WR's at times, and Keller fits that mold.

I think the inability to run well really hurt, when the colts bit on the run, it opened up the down field plays over the top.

Sanchez tried to dink it a few times over the middle with limited success and I wondered if they changed he game pan after half time.
