That's a good one. Joe would be happy. I would look at Ponder. Giants have good receivers and didn't even get to look at Moss play yet but had to keep him.
Poops Davenport would be our best back if we got him, but he's never healthy. Chad Lavalais wouldn't be a bad player, but he doesn't really fit here. Carolina's Attiyyah Ellison was a guy I liked a little from the draft, and he was Mosley's teammate in college. Cleveland cut Pete Hunter:breakdance: and Lee Suggs:breakdance: but Oshinowo is worth a look. Dallas's Petitti I would sign. Houston's Nick Luchey might be a better blocking back than Jamar Martin. Jacksonville cut 2 young linemen: OG Shannon Snell and DT Anthony Maddox. Miami cut Fred Beasley, there's a bigtime blocker. New England's Klecko isn't a bad option. New Orleans cut Zack Hilton. He's better than Dressen. Adrian McPherson is also a major talent but a headcase. Pittsburgh's Orien Harris is an option. San Diego's Hanik Milligan is a hell of a special teams player. Tampa Bay cut Toniu Fonoti.
I really like Davenport and Beasley a lot. He's always hurt, but in '03 and '04 averaged 5.5 and 5.1 YPC respectively, and was one of the best backup RBs in football behind Green. He reminds me a lot of Lamont Jordan. I don't see us bringing in a RB, and I don't necessarily think we need to, but if we did he would be an upgrade. As for Beasley, I think he was a 99 in Madden just last year, which I know doesn't mean anything but it does show he was regarded as the best FB in football just a year ago. I don't know why he got cut, but he's a phenominal blocker and would be an outstanding pickup for us.
we should get lee suggs in .. i mean we tried to get him here, we should give him a shot. He was pretty good with the browns a couple of years ago .. he had potential.
