Yep that's what you need to blow it up and trade Melo and Tyson for picks. It won't be early 1st rounders but it will be first rounders. Maybe trade Beno for a 2nd rounder in this years draft and then if possible, buy one also. The Bargnani trade really put us in a bind leaving us no assets this year. If we had this year without Bargnani, we would be looking at a 1st round pick to end this year
Since you know the basketball side of things stinks for the Knicks, here's a cool article on celebrity row seating http://www.nytimes.com/2014/01/22/s...agnet-courtside-seats.html?smid=tw-share&_r=1
Knicks tickets prices are in the toilet right now - total reversal. Boom or bust with this team. The 76ers game today will be available for under 10 bucks later this afternoon
I'm trying to look and see who causes the most switches/lost assignment. Felton isn't looking good right now, but it could be my bias against his play this year
The problem is Felton gets lost, then every other Knick has to scramble to help him. It causes a switch immediately in the shot clock creating time for the opposition to take advantage of a mismatch.
Knicks down 7 after 1. Defense was poor, offense not terrible. Placing Bargnani behind the 3 point line and letting him drive is much better than him shooting 3s The Knicks strategy of leaving people open from 3 has backfired this quarter
Woodson desperately staying away from the 2 PG lineup so far. Beno and Toure have not seen time, but Tyler has
Melo 0-5. JR passed up an open 3 on a fast break and passed to Melo for an open 3 and he missed. Get another fast break right after and JR drills the 3. Knicks down 5. The Knicks are doing a good job pushing off of the 76ers turnovers. Since their half court offense sucks at getting open looks, it's key to find other ways
