Looking at the box score, Felton really no showed. 3 assists, the same amount as Camby and Kurt Thomas? Felton hasn't been playing very well (didn't see this game but the box score says he shot 33%). He tends not to drive into the paint and miss the screener in the PnR. He also is a ball stopper at times as he dribbles nowhere and then gives JR or Melo the ball with 7 seconds left on the clock. If he's not playing well, it forces Melo or JR to bring the ball up and initiate offense themselves while leaving Felton as a spot up a shooter, which also isn't good. Or it forces more minutes onto J Kidd's legs. Melo is questionable for Sunday's game against LAC. Kind of hope him and Tyson don't play Sunday, but come back Monday to destroy the Jazz. I'm afraid neither one would be able to complete a back to back and well knowing Woodson, he would play both of them 40+ minutes on Sunday then ask for another 40 minutes on Monday
Also Lamarcus Aldrige had this strategy where he met with trainers and they said if he could play or not last night. It's a ground breaking strategy the Knicks should invest in.
He'd probably get hurt again knowing our luck. Read somewhere KMART suffered a shin contusion or shin bruise
We are 1.5 back of IND for the two seed. 1 up on BK and 3.5 up on CHI, ATL, and BOS. BK might take the division lead beginning of next week, but then they go on a 8 game road trip. Fast forward past our road trip, I guess best assumption is we lose 2 more games. Then we do vs ORL @TOR vsTOR @BOS vsMEM vsCHA vsBOS to close out March. If we want the tiebreaker against BK we need to win both TOR and BOS games. Probably not happening. It is vitally important we get Tyson/Melo back for this stretch. ORL/CHA are must wins. Must at least split with BOS. Sweep TOR. So go 5-2 on this stretch to end March. This is the easy part of our remaining schedule. I don't think we beat MEM so not going to entertain the possibility. Then in April we go @MIA @ATL vsMIL @OKC vsWAS @CHI @CLE vsIND @CHA vsATL Only 3 non playoff teams in that stretch and well 5-5 would be nice there. Again health is going to be what makes our break our seeding and the division. If BK gets the division so be it, but if BOS comes here and takes it again I'm going to be furious.
Oh well that explains why I read it as contusion somewhere and bruise somewhere. Tyson ahd the same thing. It seems like "contusion" is going to be the new "sore" for all our players injuries. Sheed a "sore" foot, Melo a "sore" knee, Amare sore "knees"
"PORTLAND, Ore. — The $19.5 million knee was back in Manhattan, with a small needle hole in it. The $19.9 million knee was recovering from surgery. The $13.6 million knee was wrapped in ice in the visitors locker room at the Rose Garden. All told, the Knicks were missing $53 million in knees on Thursday, all of them attached to All-Stars" http://www.nytimes.com/2013/03/15/s...azers-send-knicks-to-third-straight-loss.html
Hhaha good find. I'm not scared of the Heat. Not scared of the Thunder. Scared of the Knees ending our season. Yeah when you enter the game as JR Smith your best player, you need other people to step up. JR shouldn't be given the responsibility to score 1/3 of your points. It looks like Prigioni played well. He needs more time especially in the lineups with Kidd as the only PG. Although JR was 11/21 from the field and 4/8 from 3 and 7/10 from the line. I guess he took the ball to the hole, good for him
