Gotta give Stats his due, he never complains and he rises to the occasion, his play has been inspiring, he plays better w/o Melo

Yeah we see that in games even when melo plays. Stat is at his best when he plays with chandler and so is melo. When all 3 play together its more efficient than last year but not even close to the efficiency of one of them with chandler

I don't think so. Stat was hitting close to 30 minutes the last couple games before Melo went down. I think you are just going to see the rotations differ and some Melo/Chandler/Amare time but the majority of the time will be 2 out of those 3 on the court.

Wonder how Melo would react if this happened to him

Not sure, but the Knicks would list he player day-to-day and not give him x-rays until 3-5 days later in the week.

Most basketball players not names Kobe Bryant would writhe in pain (as Staal rightfully did) and not stay in the game. Kobe throw an eye patch on, some duct tape, and a mask and then drop 30 points like it's nothing

Rather him get well than rush it back.

Hopefully Brooks is stubborn and runs the Perkins/Ibaka big lineup for a long minutes.

OKC throws Durant on JR in the 4th quarter. Someone else has to score and create now, not sure who as nobody else is on right now

Looks like Sefolosha might be back on Smith with lots of help. Someone else is going to have to hit shots. Hopefully Felton gets it going

Oh no, JR is going cold. Somebody has to get hot or find a way to get JR open

WE get a stop after Thunder get OREB.

Knicks down 1 with 38.6 left, 19 on shot clock. Get a shot off with about 31 seconds left to go 2 for 1 and you don't need to foul if you miss. If you make, you're guaranteed another shot

JR misses the the quick 3. Down 1, Knicks don't have to foul

Down 1 with 7.9 seconds left.

Uhhh go to JR I guess and see what happens. He's cold, but nobody else except KMART, Kurt Thomas, and James White have shot over 50% today

JR misses a shot at the buzzer. Oh well, fun game, didn't even think we would get a shot to win at the buzzer.

Hopefully Melo can suit up for the Jazz on Saturday before we go on a 5 gmae road trip
