The game as 56-53 when Amare entered in the 3rd quarter. It was 73-60 when Amare left in the 3rd quarter.And 79-70 to end the 3rd quarter with Amare on the bench. Ugh. Knicks down 79-70 after 3. Rudy Gay went off in the 3rd quarter mostly because the Knicks switched every time, giving him mismatches, letting him get hot.
When Amare isn't making shots (he isn't) he's basically a less effective Novak on the floor which isn't very good
Now with Felton, Smith, Melo, Novak, Amare down 81-72 go on a quick 7-0 run. Good stuff, fighting over picks and not letting Toronto get mismatches and they get the 7 with: Melo drive hard into the paint for 2. Melo pass to Novak who hits a contested 3. Felton drives on 1 vs 1, his defender flops leaving him an open passing lane to Amare for a dunk. This team will probably have to close this game without Chandler. Hopefully without Chandler, no safety net defensively, they give more effort and are tighter on D. The Raptros tried to attack Novak in the pick and roll and so far it hasn't worked
Stpuid John Lucas hits a contested 3 to give the raptors a 5 point lead. Then Felton turns ti over trying to sneak it to Amare
Lucas flies by Felton and nobody on the back end to stop his layup. Amare getting some great looks in the pick and roll now
And lookie here, we have a lead finally thanks to JR Smith and some great defense. Felton is a big weak point on our D though. Lucas is flying by him like nothing which shouldn't happen
Amir Johnson works Amare iso in the post and gets the layin to tie the game. Knicks ball with around 5:30 left. Tyson has 5 fouls and is on the bench.

I wonder if Woodson is watching this: When Amare/Melo played without Chandler, they cancelled out a 9 point deficit. When all 3 played together, they created the 9 point hole
I really want to see Shump sub in for Felton or Kidd so that way they can be switch happy on Rudy Gay and still have a better good player guarding him
This sucks. Lowery makes a very difficult shot to give the raptors a two point lead with 28 seconds left. Ridiculously tought shot. Damn Kidd passed up an open 3 with about 1:45 left when was open. CANNOT hesitate and then the possession eneded with a bad shot.
