^^^ Nights like this happen, but the Knicks haven't played a .500 team or better well since the first or second day of January. Was hoping we would see something, haven't seen anything from the KNicks for a couple weeks now Kurt Thomas has 4 fouls now.
Down 62!-36 against the Pacers with 2-3 minutes left in the first half. Wooooo. Refs are being decent too, the Knicks are just getting dumb fouls, not playing defense, not making open shots, and playing terrible individual/team defense. The best defender (besides Chandler) is Shumpert followed by probably Novak right now. Yep, Novak is probably our 3rd best defender tonight
So the teams we struggle against are still the defensive teams that play physical, Boston/Indy/Chicago. If we get past the first round, guess who we are probably seeing, Chicago/Indy.
Pendagraph (or however you spell it) just ran into Felton. Felton responded by half slapping/pushing pendagraph to retaliate. Probably double techs.
Oh well, gonna throw on something else and have this muted in the background. Maybe we make a Chicago like run at the end of the game. Oh Felton got called for a flagrant 1, nice. Pacers average around 93 a game this season, they are at 67 in the first half hahahaha.
Also, I wonder if this game pushes the Knicks into a trade. I hope it doesn't make Grunwald panic, but it very well might. Pacers 1.5 games back, will cut it to .5 if they hold on. If they don't hold on, it would involve a 30 point comeback from us

I wouldn't go that far, everyone is sucking tonight. But now that he isn't ultra efficient offensively, his defensive lapses show
But yeah, if we could trade Amare, I would even if it meant lack of front court depth for a long time.
Pick and roll defense. Not really sure what the Knicks can do. They jsut aren't good at it. The other team gets whatever they want by just running multiple pick nad rolls

JR Smith just got an offensive foul by not touching someone, so that's cool. He got it for swinging his elbows, if they called that all the time Amare would foul out every game. JR Smith ejected, said the magic words to the refs. Knicks have shown no fight.
Down 36 after 3 I think. Lance Stephanson was clowning us good until he bricked that buzzer beater 3.
Since December 15th, the Knicks are 14-14. Definitely need some changes. I think on Friday night, I would start Felton, Brewer, Shumpert, Melo, Chandler. I would reminded Shump and Brewer to chuck when open. Don't ruin the flow of the offense because you are scared to shoot and then dribble and ruin the spacing. Then I would have Kidd play with Prig/Smith and I like the idea of Thomas/Amare playing together with Prig/Smith.
Got get excited about something! We get to play the Raptors who got us before the break on Friday night. Friday Night Knicks is historically bad so well we will see what happens.
