This is when you hope Shump gets off that minutes limit. We would just throw him on Jrue and tell him to follow him everywhere.

Absolutely horrific first half. Melo is playing garbage, no interior defense from Chandler. Felton/Kidd can't stop Jrue. Amare is the only bright spot offensively.

Everyne running the pick and roll is just using the pick and not hitting the picker. Terrible game so far. Nick Young seems to be catching fire so even worse for us

76ers absolutely dominating us. Nobody can guard Jrue and he his having his way wherever he wants. No team defense. Terrible rotations and PHI is feasting. Chandler seems to be having a poor game

76ers up 26 heading to the 4th. Jrue has 31 points. He's hit tough shots, but mostly he's gotten what he wants.

With a game tomorrow, I trot out Prig, Smith, Copeland, Novak, Amare to start the 4th.

Absolutely terrible. Honestly this team has been playing like a .500 team for the last month. They simply are not that good. I know Felton needs to shake the rust, but why are they starting Jason Kidd? He's obviously not 100% and we need a big man. START AMAR'E. He was the one guy that looked decent out there tonight and he seems to be back in the flow of things. JR Smith sucks. I'm tired of him. He still makes the same stupid mistakes as he did last year. Another 4 point play, useless fouls, horrible offense. Either get rid of him or give him less minutes. HE IS NOT JOHN STARKS AND NEVER WILL BE. I really hope the Knicks put him on the trading block before the deadline. I don't know why Woodson loves him so much. He's a bad player and people actually mentioned his name as an all star? GTFO. Also why not play Kurt Thomas, when we are getting dominated in the paint? No Copeland either? Our defense is terrible, we can't always play small ball.

    Overreaction.

    None of this makes sense.

I don't feel liek going through this but JR's defense is why he's playing a lot, and his rebounding which is much needed. We lead the league in DRR mainly because of Chandler but also because Smith crashes the boards.

Amare starting is tough, and not worth it. What happens to the bench? In fact I pointed this out, we had Melo/Chandler/Amare in. Melo was double teamed, threw it to Felton who swung it to Kidd, who was going to swing it to the open weak side shooter. Nobody there because Amare and Chandler are in the paint. Leading to a rushed shot.

Who plays in place of Smith? Brewer? Come on now.

Copeland hasn't been playing good defense. Woodson addressed this as the reason Copeland hasn't played much.

Kidd is playing because Kidd at #2 guard is beneficial to the team. He calms things down and puts people in the right spot.

JR Smith is Starks. Very similar players and persona regarding Knicks fans.

Kurt Thomas' defense has been pretty bad. It's why we haven't played him much.

But yeah this a complete overreaction post. Wow the Knicks are playing average ball since Felton went out. Now they need to get everyone back going. Felton/Shumpert are coming back together too. All Star break is a key to us. Rest up everyone and get some valuable thinking time for Woodson.

Also, Sheed might practice this week.

Is it just me, or is Prig's 3 point shot heating up?

Melo scores 3 straight 3s, including one from very very very far out to get a heat check, he made it.

The main concern is that Teague and Jrue yesterday have burnt Amare/Felton on the pick and roll. Teague is lighting it up and Jrue did the same thing Saturday

Tied at 52-52 at half. Transition defense, defense on the PG pick and roll, and turnovers key concerns.

Also unnecessary doubling is causing concern. If Melo has has Josh Smith outside the paint, Felton doesn't have to collapse and double.

Hopefully Woodson makes this change, or even JR Smith on Teague. Felton is getting burnt badly.

Felton still on Teague, still not a fan of it. Hopefully as most of the season has gone, our defense locks it down in the 4th quarter.

Melo is on fire taking actually good 3s. Melo stepping into shots instead of jab stepping and taking a dribble is ridiculously different.

JR knocks down back to back mid range jumpers, makes lead 7. Teague is out of the game currently.

ATL basically putting Amare in the pick and roll whenever they can and well expected results

Knicks can't do anything with Teague and Smith on the bench, only up by 2.
