Shumpert now has 3 fouls. Knicks going to a zone to protect the bigs.

KG blocked Melo on a layup.

Melo is 3-12 but Shump keeping it close with two 3s, the second one being a heat check

I can't believe they do it in Boston. You would think they got the fans for it. Especially considering the Melo/KG thing

I expect this from Miami

obviously an open jumper for novak is better because he's a shooter. hence he won't see very many wide open jumpers

but you can't really play guard if you're not going to shoot when they play 5 on 4 and leave you by yourself

I heard them say something about the crowd, but I didn't realize they were piping in noise

JR is sucking. Melo is sucking. The refs are overall sucking. Doc and Woodson are furious.

Marv at the beginning of the gmae said, the crowd is tame, if KG was visiting MSG you would hear it. Then he started talking about how TD pipes in noise. I was skeptical at first, but he kept on pushing it, and then you could hear it was noticeabley fake

Like I mean I expected noise to be fake in places especially on national TV but Boston? I really hope MSG doesn't do it. They haven't when I have gone to games there but I wasn't necessairly listening for it

hey Kenny, who are the "a lot of point guards that are considered" better than Rondo.

What I was trying to imply is that since the team stinks, the fans aren't showing up.

Although they didn't exactly have great crowd support even in the two seasons after The Fake was joined by KG and Allen (and Rondo came into his own).

Not watching halftime but is he talking East or both?

I have Kyrie, Parker, Rondo, Westbrook, CP3 in my top 5 in no order there. Rose might jump in there, need to see him off of injury.

in general, he was saying Rondo is so much more impressive than "a lot of point guards that are considered better" than him, because he had to come into his own surrounded by stars. His argument, which is not necessarily correct, is that it's very hard for a PG to become good if his early years are spent surrounded by top players.

But his whole statement is garbage because there are not a lot of PGs better than Rondo. Paul is clearly better, but after him, Rondo has an argument to be as good as, or better than, any other PG in the league.

Yeah. Rondo is ridiculously good now. I don't think his development is stunted at all except for his own reluctance to shoot at times

If I were there, I would've liked to reply with "What LeBron did is more impressive than the many players considered better than him, because of the road he had to travel. Seven years in Cleveland!"

Rondo passes up a wide open layup to try and throw a lob for an alley oop Jr Smith who was two steps back with the trailer swatted the lob away.

Chandler, Amare, Melo all have 3 fouls. Knicks in dangerous territory. Can't lose Chandlers defense or Amare's size. Melo has been ehhh to sucking all game

To showcase Melo struggling against the Celtics, they cut to two shots he took with <2 seconds left on the shot clock. Much better open shots to choose from

yeah one he had to chuck from like 26 feet or something and it was nowhere close but that wasn't really his fault
