Meh, the Heat don't need a point guard. Lebron or Wade can run the offense and they'll be just fine as long as they have guys to hit 3s when one of them kicks out on the double team. Shumpert was critical in defending Wade, though. That will probably be Smith's job now. I think Smith starts over Thomas this game, and we go small ball early on.

Four games in five nights means everyone will get significant minutes.

you would think so, but Woodson usually wilts under pressure so expect Carmelo to play 13 minutes a quarter on Thursday

I do like the refs letting them go at. Letting it go both ways, it's ugly but fun to watch

Oh god Bobcats with two GREAT blocks, one by Henderson, the next by Bismak. Bobcats are hitting tough shots and driving into the paint. Knicks are settling for contested jumpers and missing and missing open ones too.

Ben Gordon with a long contested 3. Thank God henderson didn't make that long 3 too. Ugly game from NY. They usually save this performance for the second night of back to backs. Also noticed this is one those nights where I make more posts in a row than JR misses in a row

Melo getting nothing to fall, JR getting nothing to fall, and Ray Felton just hit a floater. Game is incredibly opposite from how the Knicks have played this season

JR with a HUGE block on Bismark, saving an easy 2. Play before Melo banks in a shot to cut it two. After JR block, Melo dives into Knicks bench and hurt, Melo leaves the court. His left hand seemed to be the hurt one

Not good that Melo has to leave the court. Not at all. But trainer not going back into room with Melo.

Knicks get 2-3 possession with offensive rebounds but Kidd and Novak both miss open 3s to take the lead. Knicks get a stop by gidd-kilchrist dives on the floor and taps it out to Kemba. We just missed open shots and the Bobcats hit them. That was the difference. Along the way the Bobcats also hit tough shots.

This thread is more quiet than the Knicks 3 point shooting.

Knicks force Kemba to lose the ball as he splits the doubel, falls on the ball and calls CHA last timeout. Oh man. And Kemba never had "possession", he was just lying on it but that's how they call it as Breen said

Ben Gordon travels! Knicks call a TO (1 left now) with 39 secnds left, tie game. They should try to get the 2 for 1 if it's a good shot.

Jason Kidd basically tries to tackle ref as trying to call timeout
