I do agree with you when saying that the Rams would most likely not trade their 3rd round pick. I do really like Hill, he still has a lot to learn, but he is much much better than last year and I feel like he can be a great player for us. As for Nelson, I rather have him as a #4. I like Holmes, but I'd rather have Sammy Watkins, same for Cumberland, I like him, but I'd rather have him as the #2. Bailey would be good on this team if we were able to get him for a 4th or above. You can never have too many receivers, and with Bailey, this team would be able to spread the field with multiple receivers, and have defenses guessing since all 4 or whatever receivers on the field are all good. Look at the Cowboys. They have a bunch of receivers who can all come up big when they spread the field, that's one thing that I would love, and that's a thing that Geno can do very effectively.
I think the offense will most likely stay the same until the offseason and if Geno is the answer they will add a bunch of pieces in FA and the draft. Just my belief and the smart thing to do.
There was a point when I thought there was no way he would be back, but for the right price, he may be back.
This is slightly off topic, but trading Sanchez to the Rams in the off-season could make a lot of sense. Bradford could use an experienced backup with his injury history, and Sanchez has won (of course, with a lot of help) in Schottenheimer's offense. Sanchez gets a chance to start over in a lower profile environment, the Rams make a solid move to add stability under center, and we continue to stockpile 2014 draft picks, or maybe even swipe Stedman Bailey. Everybody wins! This would of course have to wait until after Sanchez recovers from his surgery.
I doubt Rams would do it for another player but I don't think for a spare draft pick & some defaulted contract $ it is all that insane. Sanchez knows Schotty's system, is likely a better option than what is on open market & would at least keep them in the race. For a 6th or 7th round pick it makes a ton of sense.
Wow! Geno is filthy with the deep balls. I can't believe hack like Mike Mayock and other ANAL-ysts tried to knock him on his strongest point, which is his deep ball accuracy. Heck, Geno's accurate all over.
Geno and Steadman Bailey had great chemistry at WVU Wouldn't mind acquiring him for the right price. He was a WR I wanted with our 3rd round pick before we selected Winters. Is there a reason he hasn't received any playing time yet?
What makes people sure other team want our simms. If anything, they could trade for Kirk Cousins and return a 1st round back to Washington. Who is gonna give up a 3rd rounder for an UDFA who never play even a half of preseason game? I hope no Rams fan is reading this because they'd be laughing. lol
Yes he hasn't developed into an NFL level receiver yet. All the chemistry Geno developed with this guy in college is meaningless if the receiver cannot consistently beat NFL cornerbacks.
