Hopefully it's Leonard Fournette the collective euphoria followed by the multi-tiered shades of anger in the resultant years will be highly entertaining.
It all depends on whether a trade down is available. If Fournette goes #2 and Howard goes #5, well that leaves a defensive player for the Jets on the 6 and other than Adams they all have questions attached.

Trade down early and often, then grab up the misfits - Foster, Peppers, Mixon. Guys with a chip on their shoulder, something to prove, and a moral turpitude clause in their contracts. Al's Raiders redux. Genius or Insanity? Maybe a little of each...
Haha, yeah throw Conely in there too. If we got those four in the first 3 rounds I would be fine with that. We would look like a ass holes but could maybe win some damn football games.
So simple: 1. TRADE DOWN, damn it, and get more picks 2. If you cannot get a decent trade down, take RB Fournette--an impact player and not a broken-down DB like Lattimore/Millner/McDougle 3. If Fournette gone and still no trade down, take who you think is the best player on the board 4. Then try like hell the rest of the first round to find somebody who liked that player you just picked and trade him to them for more picks 5. Worst case scenario-- you took the best player on your board at your pick beside Fournette
Taking the opponents top recieving threat out of the game is useless? This is the same Revis you insisted for weeks that the Jets must keep prior to his release? You refused to accept on logical reason to release him, but he was basically useless at his best???
Trade down, get an extra second, and take whoever is left from Howard, Williams, McCaffrey, Cook, Hooker
Wouldnt be totally shocked if the jets trade out all the way to the lower 1/3 of round 1......of course thats gonna cost some cheese and the other team may have to dip into next years pick for that deal. Would be nice to get an extra 2018 pick on board for maximum flexibility in getting a QB.

Hooker is gone at 7 to the Chargers. Howard might be gone at 10. If these are players the Jets are coveting, there is no trading down.
