We have a group that's been going for like 15 years now. Our go to move after a game is to fire the grill back up and hang out, shoot the shit, put the late games on the radio, and let the traffic die down. Anyone who goes to games at the meadowlands knows how bad that post game traffic is. For 1 o clocks a lot of times we do breakfast before the game and lunch after. Those who aren't driving usually have a couple more beers to help pass out on the ride home lol. The only time we don't is if it's a night game since they end so late. I've been stuck in that traffic. As shitty as Shea was, it was easier (at least for me) to get in & out of... You guys must of been in a pretty good mood after the game.
Everyone that was there and wearing the green and white was in a good mood after that game. Was a great atmosphere yesterday. Great weather(until the last 8 min of the game) great crowd, and just a great day all around. And hearing that cro and mauldin are going to be ok made it even better in hindsight. I will say this. Football Sunday on the way coast is damn fun. Being at the bar for kegs and eggs at 9 am for 10am kickoffs was a blast when I was out in San Diego a few years back. The redemption of Idzik? Marcus Williams had a great day, including a pick. Trevor Reilly had a sack and forced fumble. Chris Owusu had a 43 yard catch among other plays. Calvin Pryor had the best game of his pro career. Chris Ivory is a tank. Decker caught a touchdown. Still a horrible tenure overall, but good day for Idzik era acquisitions.
I was at that game. My girlfriend got us a pair of tickets through the Chargers front office for my birthday. Cheap bitch. It was weird seeing the Jets at an away game. It was weirder still seeing FARVE on the back of a Jets jersey. When there was some nonsense chatter recently about the Jets moving out to LA...I gotta admit...I pee'd my pants a little.
