Allen got to the QB more regularly, got more pressures, more sacks, more forced fumbles, and without other great players around him and against tougher competition. He can also drop into coverage. He doesn't have an injury history. I just don't get the Bosa love, and total disregard/disrespect of Allen.
This is the day we talk about on here for 364 days. Especially this year because it is Mac's weekend of reckoning. Is he going to take Bosa, Allen or Williams at 3? Does he drive a hard bargain and get a king's ransom to move out of the 3? Just as importantly how does he do in the middle rounds? It's Mac time.
The mock draft this morning on NFL network had Allen going to the Jets. All 5 of those guys couldn't see why the Jets would pass on him......
The title of this should have been "the mourning of" and then it would have been fitting for the post pick discussion too. The jets are going to give away the pick, just watch...they gave up 3 2s last year to move from 6 to 3..let's see what they get when they move down now.
That would end my draft weekend right there. The Gase era would be off to a bad start and Macc should be pink slipped.
Lot of Williams chatter at the moment. I just hope its a smoke screen. If it' is a pretty bad one because there has been no chatter about anyone wanting to trade up for Williams. Hope some team get's desperate and bails Macc out of committing to a bad pick...again.
