play like Jacoby Brissett is plpaying and we're in solid shape. OL and run game has to step up too. Herbigs absence was MAJOR last week.
I'm not sold on Mike White, but I have the feeling he's going to come out and play really well. He knows the offense. The Bears defense is pretty bad. White probably feels this is his chance to showcase to the rest of the league and hopefully get a decent contract for next year.
Mike White is a decent enough option for a backup, Solid game manager and he knows the offense. I think he gets dinged up quickly though, and his skillset redefines vanilla. I don't know that I want Mike White to be starting for an extended period of time. Teams will just start jumping his routes like they did to Pennington.

Mike White is like the anti Zack Wilson he may not be able to sling it down field like Zack but he has pin point accuracy on short throws, most of his throws in the game he threw 400+ yards were short and the playmakers made plays. We know theres plenty of play makers on the Jets and if Lafleur schemes right Mark White will be dangerous without turnovers. All they gotta do is get Carter, Moore, Garrett Wilson and even Mims out in space and they will have massive YAC. These guys know how to break tackles. Mark White may not be the long term solution but he is built for this offense.
If anything, with Mike White, it forces opposing defenses to play the Jets differently. The Jets offense was way too predictable with Zach due to his limitations. Hopefully, we will see an offensive game plan which does not make the unit look like they're playing scared.
I bet every one of our wide receivers are rejoicing, they will now be able to catch balls in the end zone again, they'll all have to be retrained
The only game planning you have to do with Wilson is contain him, his only upside is his ability to scramble, take that away and he's a sitting duck
White is our QB, enough said. Support him as much as possible because there will be good and bad, lets hope the good outweights the bad...
All he has to be is below average to be better than Zack, the bar is not set high, and judging by his press confrence the man is a true leader. If he goes out there and has 180 yards and 1 touchdown he is already beating Zack's avg this season
My thoughts on White are pretty simple, he needs to make the simple plays to keep drives alive. I’m more nervous that MLF will abandon the blueprint that has won 6 games for the Jets, run the ball and not ask the QB to be the deciding factor in the game. If White has some success passing the ball, you will see MLF go back into his pass happy offense and have White try and carry the team. White just needs to manage the game and compliment the running game not replace it.
