In 3 games - White has 4 tds (3 throwing, 1 rushing) and could have had a few more (Berrios drop, Wilson stepped out by a toe, Davis streaking got caught from behind)… and that was with 2 games in bad weather and going up against maybe the best defense in football in Buffalo. A game where Josh Allen also had trouble too due to the conditions. No reason to hate on Mike White at this point. If anything he is showing promise. He has 4 more games… Jets are in the hunt, exciting times for us fans!!!
I hope and pray Mike and the Jets win the next game. And the one after that. That is the most important thing. We have a really good chance. If not, forget all these comparisons, yards, stats over stats, who won the game with Zach versus now blah blah blah. This is not fantasy football. The only fact that matters to me is that we improved significantly in the passing game yet we are struggling getting into the end zone and winning games. So let’s not start pointing fingers at everyone else or rationalize how we won before. Just win the games in front of you and fuck the rest. I don’t care if Mike throws for 400 yards or fifty, as long as we win. We need to make the playoffs and we shouldn’t give a fuck how we do it.
I don’t hate Mike, I like him a lot. I wanted the change. But I’m tired of all the stats discussion while in fact we are loosing ground in the playoff race. We need this team to really rally around Mike and win games. Screw the rest and screw the stats.

My mistake. I was attempting a reply to another thread and got everything mixed up. Some people here think I'm against Mike, nothing could be further from the truth. I was first to bat to make the change during the second half of the NE game. Perfect timing IMO. But for whatever reason, we need to leverage his better passing into wins. This team needs to raise the bar and rally around Mike for a playoff run. We are too good not to make it. We lost a golden opportunity against NE with Zach, and one against the Vikings with Mike. I think with Q and White we are good enough to make a strong run to the playoffs.
And if Carter happens to not fumble there against the Bills it was sure looking like a comeback was in full throttle. A couple bounces away from being 3-0 and looking great in all 3 games and we'd have a national story on our hands.
While there is some truth there, MLF didnt fumble when we had the best drive of the game, or the sick sequence of events with Flacco for another fumble. CJ fourth down offsides was a killer too. Thus, Mike is the starter, Zach is the back up, and Flacco will be inactive this week. Makes sense to me. The real question is.....what constitutes a good, great or elite winning ratio and corresponding scoring ratio. i have not seen this metric used universally before
