Thank Boobway. He traded a #1 pick for Jolley and Nugent.

Well, that's probably a little extreme.

Let's just cut the guy - he was a huge mistake by the Front Office.

Exactly, no reason to hold onto a previous regime pick for the hell of it

Tuesday is when we find out how much of Parcells is in Mangini.

Parcells signs a kicker on Tuesday and probably cuts Nugent by next SUnday.

No, he traded away a 1st rounder for Jolley and Nugent (ignoring the late round picks). It could've been Heath or several other players.

D'Brick's holding penalty didn't help either.

Kickers cannot cost you games in the NFL. It's too hard to put together the other pieces and make them work. The kicker has to be automatic.

    Nugent has no guts

You cannot let a guy with no guts ruin your season before it starts.

He has to be cut now.

We could have had Heath Miller as our tight end instead of this fag and Jolley. Thanks Bradway.

Mark Cannizzaro of the Post was 100% right: Bradway was in over his head and overreached in the draft numerous times. Even the draft of Robertson was a reaction to the negative fallout from the Redskins poaching of our players. He even admitted he felt the pressure to do that.

No wonder he picked a mediocre kicker with a #2 pick. You never pick a kicker higher than #4 unless he's a once-in-a-lifetime weapon like Ray Guy.

C'mon, what were the Jets looking for as of the 2005 draft? A tight end.

Bradway, as he did so many times before, allowed a player's potential to speak much more than his actual production. Jolley was a waste, the fricking Oakland Raiders knew that. That's why he sat for so many downs in 2004.

Heath Miller is going to be the dominant two-way TE in the AFC over the next half decade and we're going to be watching with a sour taste in our mouth.

Nugent looks like a deer in the headlights on the sidelines.

Hopefully we can put one in the endzone here

By picking Nuggy, Bradway over-reacted to Doug Brien's misses against Pitt in 2004 playoff game. Brien didn't cost the Jets that game, Brad's buddy Herm did.
