Anyone hear him talk over Santana and Reyes today? Santana was as honest as possible, no setbacks and he should best case be ready by July. Mike was all about the what ifs almost hoping he does not make it back...then if you listened to Reyes he finished all his sentences. He also seems to be starting to slowly go after ALderson in his usual off the cuff way. Minaya was his guy who gave him all his info so I sense the disdain towards Alderson who he knows probably looks at him as a fat ass blowhard who never dressed for gym. Fatcesa will attack the Mets like he never has beginning this season. Usually he's fair because he's good buddies with Omar but now that he's gone it's time to treat the Mets like the Jets. I can already tell the hatred he has for Alderson.
Francesa has every right to bash the Mets. They're a classless and clueless organization. Can't fault him for that.
The mets truly are clueless. Year in and year out, they are the laughing stock of the MLB, seemingly trying to destroy their season. I wouldn't say their "classless" by any means, but they have got bad signings/trades/front office hirings down to a fuc$%&# science.
This is why this thread will be ultimately annoying. For the next 6 months, people will be arguing Yankees versus Mets in the Jets forum.
I have decided not to watch Mets anything this year. No interviews, no games nothing. Since I am not a season ticket holder, its the only way I can display my disgust for the state of this team. I lived and died with the Mets BEFORE i was a diehard Jets fan and they kill me every year. I was in tears in 88 and then my hatred for the Yanks grew out of 2000 (Clemens bat throwing and he didn't get ejected). Then 2006 was a heart breaker (2007 was rediculous, 2008 was an atrocity). Now I am just disgusted. I want NEW OWNERS. Someone that has a clue about running a baseball team. BOT: You guys kill me when I read the fatcessa lyrics.
