I'll admit, I was pissed when the Jets passed on Leinart. I was over it before D'Brick's family met him at the podium. My philosophy was that we should have drafted the marquee qb this year, and gambled on sucking next year with Leinart patrolling the sidelines...then building him an offensive line NEXT year. But this was one of the smartest draft the Jets have had for as long as I can remember. Fans who don't see that, or think this was "the worst draft ever" are probably children who think the NFL should be played like Madden football. Remember, in Madden football, Michael Vick is a genuine superstar. In reality, he's the most overrated man in the NFL today. We've got protection for anyone who's good enough to play under center in the NFL. Good enough to play in the NFL=good enough to succeed in the NFL with the right motivation, work ethic, and determination. Now, the ball's in The Great Mangini's court. We'll be contending sooner rather than later.
Wait, so the media is now good again? I can't keep up. People bash them when they disagree and love 'em when they praise. Let me know which it is again so I can get on board.
