Geno did a poor job of controlling what he could control. Weapons aren't the reason for poor decisions and bad play from the qb. Are there other factors that hindered Geno yes. But 90% of Geno's problems are on Geno. Not OC's, not weapons, not olines.
So you don't have any "stats" or "evidence" to back up your Geno ball licking other than deflection? As I suspected. _
I dispute that percentage. Smith has shown that, at times, he can be a good QB. Were those times numerous enough? No, they weren't. But the notion that 90% of the Jets offensive issues were on Smith is just plain absurd. A QB is but one part of an offense. Having credible targets, those that could maybe take the top off a defense, having an OL that wasn't mistake prone or athletic enough in the A-gaps certainly contributes to a sub-par offense. If the Jets offense relied on Geno Smith to carry it, that's the REAL problem, just like it was when they expected the same from Sanchez and poor OL and crappy WRs. The results were the same because the offensive talent surrounding the QB has been the same shitty talent in all but a handful of games in the last two to three years. You wanna talk about shitty? how about these names: Stephen Hill, David Nelson, Greg Salas (injured), Eric Decker (injured), Santonio Holmes (injured). Then there's Brian Winters (sucked really bad; the second worst rated OG in the NFL), Vlad Ducasse (sucked really bad), Willie Colon (a penalty machine). These are all contributors to a sub par offense. And then there's the lack of turnovers created by the defense, so no 'quick change' scoring opportunities. Geno Smith was a rookie with arguably the worst group of receivers and OGs in football. And, really, not a lot changed in his second season, until long after the season was over, when the Jets switched to Oday and added Harvin and Decker recovered from his injury. And, not so surprisingly, Smith played better. With all his faults, numbers are nowhere near unprecedented for a QB with his number of starts. If it were just Geno, the GM and HC would still be here.
Stats are wasted on those who focus on homosexual acts in a chat room. I save my "good" arguments for the worthy. You, clearly, are not worthy.
So ball licker you've got nothing. Except Geno ball licking. Not. That there's anything wrong with that. Nothing. _
Ok then Willie Colon. He protected Geno by holding. Geno's had about 30 starts. His stats are all time league lows.
Calm down...and keep your fingers on the keyboard. I dispute that percentage. Smith has shown that, at times, he can be a good QB. Were those times numerous enough? No, they weren't. In other words, excuses from a Geno ball-licker. Yup you've convinced us all. Well done. Geno is GREAT! _
Has to be the worst 26 starts ever to start a career. I can't recall any worse. I'm waiting for a Geno ball licker to provide evidence of someone worse. _
Holy shit you've found him. So we should all be thankful that we've found our Blaine Gabbert. We are so set. _
I can't wait for Geno to be gone so I don't gotta see his dumbass scramble out of the pocket and run out of bounds 2 yards behind the line of scrimmage instead of throwing it away
No, he's just a 2nd-year QB on an under-talented offensive team. But at least you avoided mentioning...you know. I applaud you. You're growing up right in front of our eyes.
