Patrick McEnroe was saying Eldrick was asked about the kids penalty stroke and he replied, rules are rules, except for Eldrick...

Pretty sure there isn't a rule that requires him to DQ himself. Who was the last player to withdraw in similar circumstances?

Good to see that after all he went through Tiger is still a douche. Too bad Ms Nordgren didn't bash his face in with that driver.

My boy Adam Scott within striking distance again, he is so overdue to win a major. Would be a great day for him and all of us UNLV fans if he did it today.

I don't think he said the last part? When I read the quote, it was just "rules are rules"

No idea. It would be a terrible start to DQ a player because an official told him the drop was OK and it wasn't until the next day the officials actually realized he did something wrong then to DQ him because they missed it.

Freddie Couples said it best, he said something like "well this means if I do it I won't be DQ'ed"

    This is hilarious :)

By the way, I am new to watching golf. Do you guys have any nationalistic feelings or no? I am rooting for an American and right now Snedaker or whatever guy is in the lead. Rest is Australian.

    Barry

Why do you root for an Australian by the way?

I root for Scott because he played his college golf at UNLV which is my alma mater. Ryan Moore and Chris Riley are also Rebels.

The only time there really are nationalistic feelings are Ryder Cup when it's US vs Europe. I also like Boo Weekley because he is certified crazy and he's a good ole boy from Florida. He wears camo's on the course. I think one of his sponsors is Cabella's.

Tiger was cooked after that shot off the pole. He never recovered.

    Cabrera the strong favorite now.

Snedeker, Day, and Scott have an outside chance to make a run on the back 9.

Cabrera with bogeys on 10 and 13, now it's a three way battle with Day and Scott

Snedeker has fallen out of contention
