$13-$15/yr? I don't think so. Maybe $10mil, but wouldn't go much over that. I would like to see him back here at the right price. Sounds like it's a deep WR draft at least.

Who is Connors source other thN Robby’s agent trying to drum up interest. Can’t imagine any team would pay him that much unless with the cap increase teams get very reckless.

 

I would give Robbie between 10-12 mill per. I could see 3 yr 33 milll... no biggie. That give us time to get a wr1 and him play wr2 for the rookies contract... i wouldn't go over that. He's not worth it... when he doesn't drop balls like he has been or get blown over by the wind maybe. He would be good to keep for same and to stretch the field if we had a good o line and wr1. But not worth holding back the team from signing oline and other needs.

 

All that matters is the guaranteed $$$. I wouldn't care too much about the APY.

 

Crowder will still be here.

 

It would be nice to keep Robby, but he's not indispensable.

 

They aren't the same type of receiver, we need to keep the players that are productive in house.

 

Let's not create more holes for ourselves, Robby is a very good #2, and probably would've had 1000 yards if Darnold were able to connect on those missed deep balls down the field.

More weapons the better off we will be.

 

He's not worth 13+ million period. He's a wr2. 10-12 million max... the same player made 10 million last year in Oakland. You can over pay a little but not so much we could get Scherff... I would take Scherff.. bye Robbie. And my point before was our best offensive weapons are Griffin and Crowder this year. Not Robbie. This game and his bad drops proved that.

 

And that "same player" had worse stats with a better supporting cast. I don't see why the Jets can't get Scherff, Robby and Conklin. They have the money after making certain cuts.

LMAO @ Griffin being one of our best weapons. Go back, watch some games and see how many times Robby was open down the field with no QB even looking in his direction or unable to get the ball to him. Give Robby a nice deal, Iike I said in my previous post, guaranteed money is everything and NOT APY.

 

Jets don't have to money to sign Scherff to 13 million Robbie to 14 million and Cocklin to 18 Million then sign any decent depth plus their draft picks... thats not a thing even with cuts. And Griffin was way more valuable this year... we still have the same o line... Robbie can and will go... Berios can do exactly what Robbie did this year... which was make a few good plays and drop balls.

 

After several cuts / restructures they can sign those players.
