We all know that coaches can only do so much to establish a team's culture. The players ultimately set the tone. Which ones will step up and turn this team around? Discuss...
I think Edoga will. The USC situation he was in sounded like a mess and he's coming here to protect his QB who should be a rising star in this league. That and potentially earning starting left tackle money should change his attitude.
IK Enemkpali and Sal Alosi William's is our D-HC. "If you ain't jawing or tripping, you ain't trying"! Accept nothing less!
The leaders on D will be Mosley, Adams, McLendon and hopefully Q. Williams. On offense, I'm thinking it will be Sam, Osemele, and ? maybe Bell, maybe Crowder
clearly it's adams on the defense and throw in mosley now as well. for offense it's likely going to be sam. outside of him i don't see a lot of leaders on offense. maybe bell becomes one?
Offense: Sam Darnold. Defense: Jamal Adams. Simple as that. Great players such as Le'Veon Bell and C.J Mosley are more than welcome to take leadership roles, and that goes for Leonard Williams and Quinnen Williams too; but Sam as the face of our offense and Adams as the cornerstone of our defense and for a locker room it doesn't get any better than that. I appreciate the way Darnold as a young kid QB immediately went to work and remains humble and focused by leading by example he's the definition of a Franchise caliber signal caller within the makings won't be long before considered a Franchise Quarterback and I absolutely love the way Adams broke into the league demanding hard work from day 1 as a rookie he took the bull by the horns and now recognized as the alpha male of our Defense; recruited Le'Veon Bell like a dog and was heavily involved with our front office during the off-season last year he's a football junkie who recruits potential talents like an NFL scout. Sam Darnold and Jamal Adams. Teammates now have no other choice but to follow. Two locker room leaders. One for each side of the huddle. Locker room has no other option but to follow their lead. I do think Le'Veon Bell will love Sam the person. The kid QB. Who's humble and respects his teammates by embracing them. I feel Bell will fight for Darnold both on and off the field and stick up for him against the media: I can't blame Bell for being pretty much disgusted by "big" Ben. I have a 7 year old daughter. As a man myself I would refuse to respect someone like Roethlisberger accused of multiple rapes and I can easily see why Le'Veon never once considered "Big" Ben a friend. Dude reminds me of a Barry Bonds type of too big for life Prick.
Can’t wait to do something other than predict who our leaders in the locker room will be. Seriously? I can’t believe this thread is getting action and I’ve added to it.
