Idzik isn't going to go all in right after an 8-8 verdict that didn't seal the deal at HC and QB. You don't play all your chips until you've answered those questions and that is what the season was intended to be for.

Tate is a good #2 but Detroit overpaid him like crazy. Silly to complain abt that.

Maybe he just prefers to have 2 quality WRs vs 1 very good one.

That doesn't mean go and overypay the best guy available because you need a bandaid either. While I do think Cromartie should have been brought back for 2 more years I'm glad we didn't overpay for any of the underacievers in this years FA class. A 1 year Revis deal would have been the eception as next year it would have been like it never happened...and he's still 85 percent of his former self, which is still better then 98 pecent of the league...

Thread is nonsense. Not even worth arguing anything in it because a post judging a general manager based on a game clearly doesn't understand the responsibilities of the position.

Um..I'm Pete Carroll and John Schneider had more to do with those moves than Idzik.

we're all butt hurt, but did you really expect to win this game? they clearly were the better team and have one of the best qbs in the league, if you can find someone of roger's caliber in draft or free agency you pick him up. idzik has only been here for two off seasons and this offense is already "upgraded" (i'm being cautious with that word). we really should've picked up james jones tho

Look..I'm not an Idzik fan either, but I'm not going to blame him for today's loss.
We all knew going in that the lack of corners was going to be a problem.
And it's not going to change for the rest of the season.
    So....let's that one go.
There's still plenty of time in the season.
If it gets worse, THEN I say we hang Idzik,
    Otherwise, save your breath.
It's just not worth it, especially when you have a lot of pro-Idzik supporters to death with.

Well, as long as you're not jumping the gun with this conclusion or anything.

I mean its not like you're making definitive judgments on a draft class based on less than six months of progress and two meaningful games of football. That would be INCREDIBLY premature and make you look like you don't know what you're talking about.

Not sure what you're point about Decker, Sanders and Tate is supposed to be either, objectively Decker is at the VERY least as good, if not BETTER than those two by a good margin.

If you're point is that JI can't scope out talent, then you don't have a leg to stand on other than pre-established biases and an impatient mindset.

    No..I'm not Pete Carroll.
There's no way I'm giving Idzik credit for Seattle's turnaround.

I see what you were saying.
I was missing a word there.
I meant to put the word "sure" in there.
    My bad.

before the game, you probably only "expected" to win when they got up 21-3 in the 2nd, but we are playing against one of the best offenses in the league. if we were up by 18 at the start of the 4th, then i would expect to win

I legit thought we had an honest shot if geno didnt turn it over and we milked clock with the run. Posted my predictions last wek. I believe in the D despite the secondary being ass. That said, in the end the dline ran outta gas, the corners got burned, and we couldn't burn because we let em back in the game. I know a bad football team when I see one. This team isn't bad we just have holes on both sides of the ball that need to be addressed. Geno needs another security blanket and the backside needs corners. Nobody is blowing us out and we stand a chance against anyone if we can force our style of ball on the opponent. Ground n fukin pound.
