That's okay, you can post displeasure going forward, going backwards, or even going sideways.

I'm not a John Idzik fan, I'm a New York Jets fan. If he screws up, I'll criticize him. When he makes good moves, I applaud them.

I'm not going to start off with the attitude that whatever HC, QB, or GM needs to bring us a Super Bowl winning team in his first year after being the laughingstock of the league.

I hope that what you are writing are your actual opinions, and not just taking whatever opinion you view as "the balancing force". My only horse in this race is the NYJ, the only reason I care about Idzik is that he's the Jets' GM. And I think he's doing a good job so far.

Salas, Kerley and David nelson as the red zone options you trot out there with the game on the line is inexcusable.

John Idzik is a clueless buffoon.

Kelvin Benjamin, anybody? Brandin Cooks? Jordan Matthews? Kyle Fuller? Darqueze Dennard? Re-sign Cromartie?

A blind man could see this team's most pressing needs at WR and CB (and LG).

And our idiot GM responds by drafting:

    1) a midget safety who can't cover, tackle in the open field, or catch balls that hit him in the hands
    2) a plodding stiff TE who also apparently can't catch passes that hit him in the hands
    3) a reach pick CB coming off a severe shoulder injury who you could have taken in the 7th round
    4) a 150 lbs punt return specialist who apparently can't even field punts to save his life and when he does secure the ball goes for negative yardage

And he does this 1 year after drafting a weak un-physical CB with 1 year of full time college experience who had like 6 surgeries before he ever played a down in the NFL and who now can't stay healthy for more than a week or 2 before going down with 2 or 3 more injuries.

We are ranked 2nd in the league in Defense.
And 8th in the league on Offense.

Geno has been a huge point swing so far this year. He's costing the Jets 8 to 10 points a game in terms of their differential. He has to figure things out pretty quickly here or they will go to Vick. A couple more games that look like last night and he's going to be carrying a clipboard. Maybe just one more.

I assume you refer to the O in terms of total yardage. Last night was a perfect example of how that can be a misleading metric. You march down the field and can't convert TD's in the red zone, throw a pick six and an interception in the end zone. 8th ranked O my ass.

Yeah, total yardage. But that's exactly what I'm getting at. It's a completely misleading thing

The yards are skewed on both ends. when you turn the ball over you dont give up many yards cause the offense has a short field. and when you are behind and giving up quick scores your offense is on the field more

Idzik should have traded the entire farm for Fuller.

We would be 3-0 with no chance of losing in sight! Oh and don't forget to sign Peanut Tillman too. You saw the way he punched the ball during the Nelson fumble?

Jeremiah George got signed away to the Jaguars. And I can't understand any of our WR picks.
I am a fan of Idzik but this draft was far from optimal.

Don't forget Woody wanting to save $20 MM in cap space because of unsold PSL's.

I think that could happen. I also think that Vick will fail and Geno will probably be back in there. if Vick does not get hurt before he fails completely. Either way, Vick's stay at QB will not be long
