"My thoughts on Dwayne Robertson" or "I think the Jets will..." would be a better title. I almost $hit myself when saw this thread.

We need to find a trade partner for Robertson pronto. A 2nd rounder to save 1 million sounds like a plan.

Robertson is going no where, nor should he. Yes he's overpaid, but there is no way you can justify dumping him when Mawae, Kendall, and Coles are all older and create much more cap savings.

With the cuts that have been happening with the CBA not being agreed upon, D-Rob would be far from a shock to me.

Robertson is about to go into his 3rd Pro year. The Jets are entering somewhat of a rebuilding phase, and do NOT want to give up on the guy they traded two 1st round picks for last year. They would rather cut Mawae and Kendall, two older veterans, rebuild, and keep Robertson and hope everything works out for him down the road.

Wouldn't that not save any room for this year because we would have to eat his signing bonus?

Obviously you don't know what you are doing. Was it really that hard to click the edit button the bottom right hand corner of your post?

OK guys, I think he gets the point. Just relax and try explaining this to him instead of continuously ripping him. Hes new obviously. Cut the guy some slack! I get sick of reading threads where people attack a new person who might not be up to par on the board rules, or make a spelling error. Reading ALL the garbage insults is worse then reading a duplicate thread IMO. GOSH!

We want to keep this the best Jets message board on the web. But it can easily go to hell if we continue to treat people like crap. New people that get on here and post a few times, will likely not return if they are treated bad. I'm sure when most of you guys were newbies, you made a dumb post, or a spelling blunder here and there. So wise up, or your post may be considered a personal attack....

I'm gonna merge this thread with the other one. I would like to think the man understands why this thread was met with just a bit of hostility.

    Relax people.

We should get him a bonafide NT to play next to before we write him off. He still has some ability left in him, and IMO he might get back to 2004 form if he had someone halfway decent playing next to him

What 5 great players do the Jets have that will get released instead of D-Rob?
