Isn't this the same response teams are going to be giving us about Abe + 18 million guaranted and a first rounder?
I think Ramsey is better than anyone we could get in the mid rounds, and I'd like to see him be brought aboard. But there is no reason to give up anything more than a 6 for him. There doesn't seem to be a lot of interest, and the Redskins will either give in or release him.
Forget Ramsey dont waste the pick.Draft Young or Leinart and if Chad cant go (i cant believe im saying this) we still have Bollinger.
I say give them a 5th for Ramsey. Then give the Lions Abe and the KC pick for the 9th overall. Those trades would be great. It's looking doubtful for either one to happen, though...
WTF Ramseys only worth nothing more than a 7th. Their lucky were willing to take this bum off their hands.
I hope Mangini holds his ground. If he comes up a bit, OK, I can live with it, but no way do we give up a 4th. I think our plan B will still work out fine. Just go with what we have and draft a good future QB with the 4th pick overall.
I would love just a 6/7th rounder for Ramsey. Pennington - Ramsey - Leinhart. Remember we don't have a healthy starter. If Penny can start then all the better but NFL teams know by now that you can't send 1st year QBs all the wolves and think you will be sucessful.
Being a former 1st round pick means nothing. Rick Mirer was a former 1st round pick as well, and he was a big time bust for us when the Tuna brought him in. Can't remember exactly what the Tuna gave up, but I'm sure it was higher than a 4th. Don't give the Skins more than a 7th or wait until he is released.
The Jets trade re Ramsey doesn't sound right??? Why would we give Redskins Abrahams and a Draft pick for Ramsey. Yet we're demanding a Draft pick plus Matt Schuab from the Falcons. That doesn't make sense just like the rumor earlier today that the Redskins had a trade for Abraham that included a 2nd or 3rd pick.
We would get atleast Washington's 2nd rounder plus Ramsey for Abraham. And hopefully we're not stupid and demand Washington's first rounder next year too.
for some odd reason i think lavar arrington would end up taking a role in a possible trade.. but thats just a wild idea of mine
