1) No turnovers 2) On offense no drive ending penalties and on defense no big penalties like the Eric Smith PI. 3) Special teams, every unit has to do their job. No shanked punts or even attempting 53 yard field goals early in the game. 4) YAC- The Jets defense cannot allow the Pats to catch a 4 yard pass and run 20 yards. Limit the YAC and the Pats offense will need long sustained drives to score touchdowns. 5) Similar to the YAC, the Jets cannot give up any big plays on defense. If Brady completes 20 passes for 4 or 5 yards the Jets will win this game. The Jets cannot allow guys to catch a short pass and run 25 yards. Whether they play man or zone they have to play safeties deep to not give up big plays.
If mangold can move Wilfork. That will be the key to the run game. If manhood wins we will be looking at alot of 2nd and 5 or better which will open up the playbook and keep the pats guessing
