The Jets are "determined" to trade down from the No.3

    we gotta hope for the best right?

    i mean it makes sense but not always the case. like last draft the jets didn't even call the giants, they called the colts because mac and the colts GM knew each other well. also later on the colts contacted the jets about moving anderson 1st because they have that relationship and the jets took it. Gms aren't cold calling each other every minute but they do want to know their options so now teams know they can try and move up to 3 and not waste time. not to mention when your pick is up you have 15 mins you can't talk to all 32 teams in that time asking if anyone wants to jump up. and lots of teams are weary about moving up before the draft because someone may jump them. most draft trades happen when the pick is on the clock. now all the teams know when the jets are on the clock they can call and try to move up.
