You're really railing over people being upset about Bawden? I haven't seen a single person here raise that sentiment.
That's like Kobe Bryant when he was recovering from his achilles injury. He practically begged fans not to vote him into the all-star game since he was injured and they did.
This would be tooo funny, and most of the NFL world would love to see it happen. Jets fans voting Rodgers into the Pro Bowl. Just that alone would triple the fans tuning in. Then, for an encore, lets shove Zach over the finish line as AFC QB First Alternant! Like Abyz said, there'd be no sacking, no pressure. While AR might tear his other Achilles, Zach could throw for 600 yards and we'd get a couple first round picks for him. win/win DOIT!
This has nothing to do with Rodgers developing with the team. There's practice every day, offseason, mini camp, training camp, etc. If Rodgers is serious he'll put in the work. This is about staying relevant in the news cycle. Getting on television during timeouts, etc, "There's Aaron Rodgers, the injured savior, blah blah blah..." Maybe he even gets a sideline interview or two. Heck, it might even sell a few more tickets. Personally I couldn't care less. As much as I hate tanking it could be hugely beneficial to us right now. You wanna throw away a rosters spot - fine with me.
