Are you mentally retarded? I just wanted to see what kind of numbers he'd project out to without that horrible game as a reference point. I'm not saying this is reality or a measure of skill, it's just boredom with numbers. Stop fishing for an argument
Fuck all these numbers lets just compare success? Just Win. And be the Hottest QB entering the playoffs. Eli Manning 2008 nearly flawless postseason
You're an absolute disgrace to the quality Bills posters we have on this site. I imagine it's an attempt to troll as a retarded opposing fan, but it's only a passable attempt. Either way, it'll eventually lead you to the banhammer like all the rest. Hypotheticals are interesting to consider, and I'm not sure why you have such a problem. No one seeks to have the game stricken from the record, but it was certainly an anomaly. He's trended upward since that game, which is an excellent sign. It's certainly a stark contrast to a certain NY QB who has fallen off since a hot two game start.
Good work. I came up with the very similar #'s in another thread. I think his pro rated numbers for the full season (that's with the Ravens game INCLUDED for the North NY state idiots) are pretty spot on. I think most sensible Jets fans would be very happy with MS posting numbers like that - 3500+ 27TD, 13Ints. Although completion percentage may have an affect on some of these numbers I don't think a QB needs to be at that magic number of 60% to be successful. He's clutch in the playoffs and that's good enough for me.
Yup, good call. I was looking at his numbers before; if you take away the atrocity that was the Ravens game, his QB rating and comp % are WAYYYYY up compared to his career norms. Hoping that game was his outlier for the season.
He's a Bills fan, how could you not know what an outlier is when you root for the outlier of the NFL?
Good job making the point for us. Is Brady the type of QB that usually throws 4 ints, or did he simply have a bad game? Throw out the high (70% at jacksonville and the low 30% at Balt) and Sanchez is around 58% which sounds about right.
http://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2011/10/27/32-teams-32-observations-8/ not bad for having musical chairs at WR, sloppy/injuries to OLine.
Strange how 67% of his INTs have been on first down though. With a team like ours, that runs on first down so often, you'd think a pass on first down would catch the defense off guard.
Fumbles when running, sure, but fumbles in the passing motion are tough to attribute to any QB. Nobody's holding the ball if their blockers let them get hit in the motion.
Understandable, I was just thinking it might add to see how he's progressed in the three main things that's plagued him: consistency, accuracy, ball security.
I agree. He's certainly responsible for the second lost fumble against Dallas. There have also been two bad exchanges and at least two fumbles where he had no shot to hold the ball. Can't remember any others right now. I think security is something he has still to master though.
Can't remember that clearly but I bet those picks were after the team picked up a first down or 2 so they were in rhythm at which point the 1st down play call could go either way.
I guess it could be added. At the time it didn't really occur to me to put a fumbles statistic into it since people rarely gauge that as a QB stat.
