Just got back from Part III. I am interested to see what people think. Completely different from the first two. Can't tell if that is a good thing or a bad thing. I am thinking bad.

That is certainly true with respect to the critics - a 23% rotten rating on Rotten Tomatoes is almost The Big Wedding/Scary Movie 5 level.

It doesn't feel like a Hangover movie until a couple minutes into the closing credits......

heard its like a action comedy that is a bit too harsh in its humor.

I think it probably will be garbage

Yup. I still want to see it, though. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Absolute hot garbage. God, I can't believe how bad that sucked. Nothing like the first 2, not that #2 was anything great, but what a disaster this thing was. Nothing even remotely funny in any way until the scene after the credits start rolling. I have no idea why they decided to fuck with the formula from the first two, but it was a worthless pile of crap.

I really liked Hangover 2, thought it held it's own to Hangover 1 and the only thing that held it back was "it was too similar to the first 1" which I thought everyone expected going in.

Hangover 3 though, it had their moments, but man it wasn't very good. It seemed to be an action movie that wanted to be funny instead of a funny movie with some action. I really like Ken Jeong as an actor but Leslie Chow is much better in small doses when they can up his crazy level as Chow. The longer they use him, the more they have to try and ground him in reality a little bit

I'm worried it will be disappointing, but then again I felt the same way when Hangover 2 came out and it was just as funny as the first. I'm hoping to go see it this weekend. Sort of glad they're stopping with this one though, dunno if they could maintain it for more movies.
