"That performance almost assures that Sanchez will start next Monday against Baltimore on Monday Night (preseason) Football. " Really? Each had one drive where they both did well. Because he got 50 more yards he should be slated to start, despite what is done in practice? That's ridiculous.
I believe he was always slated to start the second week anyway. By week 3 Ryan will have picked the starter.
Your analysis of Clemens play is spot on. He did what he was asked to do in his two series. I want to give this coaching staff heaps of credit for the way they are bringing Sanchez along so far. They surprised the Rams big time coming out swinging with the rookie starting on the 7 yard line. Fantastic move not having Sanchez play another snap - he had nowhere to go but down from that point. Now he has a week of feeling good.
Well, I was really just judging by A. Sanchez's performance on one drive. B. Ryan's post-game comments C. They probably want to give Sanchez a shot with the first team anyway.
One more minor thing for the ugly – Rex Ryan is 400lbs. I hope he lives three years to get us a ring.
He probably loses 20lbs every time he shits. When I saw him jogging off the field at half time I was yelling at the TV…turn off the fucking camera so he can stop running before he has a heart attack! He looks like Jarred before started eating subway.
Thank you. I want MS to Succeed and be amazing, but the board seriously has to stop coloring their opinion that Sanchez is a god, and Clemens is utter garbage because he threw 4 passes, 3 of which were designed to only travel about 2-7 yards in the air....
While I'm not saying Sanchez is a pro-bowler yet, he just might end up being. He looked lively and made his throws. He got it done and he showed some arm, accuracy, things like looking off the route, and really tight mechanics. He tried to fake the PA and it didn't look that good. He didn't even bother tucking the hand, but those are things that can be cleaned up. Having some fire and talent to go with it is rare, and honestly I just don't see Clemens providing that after any amount of playing time. If Sanchez is as smart as they've been pumping him up to be, then he could be lethal.
